Floyd may be a volatile ****** in his personal life, but it is undeniable that he is methodical and unwavering in his commitment to training for fights.

Meanwhile, we have Manny stopping mid-workout on film citing leg cramps leading to them striking running from his training, all we are seeing is light mittwork clips, and they've cut a week of sparring out of an already light camp.

Keep telling yourself it's because they're tricking Floyd's camp, I'm sure it helps you sleep at night.

By all accounts Pac is peaking at the right time, looked very very good in sparring few days ago went on a gruelling run couple days ago, sparred 23 impressive rounds on Tuesday and Thursday...

You flowmoes are hilarious you make it seem like Floyd is some great offensive heavy puncher all of a sudden lol. You're a moron for even comparing Canelo to Pacquaio, Canelo was flat footed standing in front of Floyd, no head movement, tried to outbox with Mayweather, orthodox stance, not a lot of experience the total opposite of Manny.
lol but you pacroids compare maidana to Pac. He walked down canelo and had him backing up. If canelo would've stood his ground maybe it would've been more competitive, but he didnt. No one said floyd was a heavy puncher, but you guys are talking about Pac having some power to knock floyd out but when asked "where has pac's power been since drug testing" you guys say he hasnt had ko's cause hes fighting guys that have never been ko'd....well newsflash:Floyd hasnt either

Some of Roach's statements are really questionable and I hope Manny doesn't actually believe the hype.

Is Floyd the same fighter physically as he was when he was 25? Of course not. But even at 38, Floyd is able to move better than most professional fighters and this idea that his legs are shot is just silly. Manny absolutely needs to pressure Floyd and try to force him to fight at an uncomfortable pace, but if Manny enters the ring believing that Floyd has no legs, he's in for a surprise. Ironically, given his history of leg cramps, Manny should probably worry more about his own legs.

The big question for Pacquiao is "What is Plan B?" Pacquiao hasn't knocked an opponent out since 2009 and couldn't even finish Chris Algieri. Mayweather has only been hurt a handful of times in his career and has never been knocked out. He's the naturally bigger fighter here so if Pacquiao's overwhelm-and-finish strategy doesn't pan out early, Pacquiao is going to be in a world of trouble. Pacquiao makes a lot of mistakes and Marquez showed that Pacquiao is particularly vulnerable to the kind of well-placed counters a technician like Floyd is going to be looking for once he gets Manny's timing down.

This is boxing and anything can happen, but the talk around this fight reminds me a lot of the talk before the Mayweather-Canelo fight. Canelo, who had a significant weight advantage Pacquiao won't have, was supposed to come in and overwhelm Floyd and we all know what happened. It's easy for fighters and their trainers to come up with a strategy to beat Floyd but they forget that he punches back.

Nice generalization moron I never compared Pacquiao to Maidana two different styles.

I think it is more of his ability to recuperate being in decline. You look at Mayweather vs Maidana II, he looked like his old self and then he got cracked in the third. I think that stuck with him throughout the bout.

His legs obviously aren't the same but I think most people are recognising the wrong things. I don't think he would have an issue moving about for 12 rounds. You see the limitations in the punches he no longer pulls off. It's why he sets up more of his punches as opposed to reacting to his opponent.

Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if he got KOed. I'm reminded of Pacquiao v Mosley and Pacquiao vs Marquez IV. I thought Mosley had a chance to knock Pacquiao out because I always envisioned Pacquiao's feint feint left getting countered with a sledgehammer of a right; Mosley didn't accomplish it but Pacquiao did. Going into the second fight with Maidana, I thought Maidana could KO Mayweather; he landed the shot I thought he would but didn't get the KO; it wouldn't surprise me if Pacquiao succeeded where Marquez failed.

It'll be interesting seeing how things play out. I think Mayweather needs to recognise he has aged, but at the same time that could result in him being gun shy. From Pacquiao's end, I don't know what he has left to give; there's a possibility that his recent fight papered over a lot of cracks.

It felt like he was desperate for the win, like he was hanging on. Matthysse looked like that Saturday night-the lunging to hold and the holding made him look like he was just trying to hold on.

A win is a win and sometimes you gotta win like that. That was a far different 9-3 than the Cotto fight.
I just watched that fight and boy it wasn't pretty lol. Floyd said he felt flat and that he gave himself a C-. No wonder he has stated that the first fight was much easier than the second one.I just hope that was an aberration and not a sign of times to come.

                      Three things

                      1. Pacquiao not finishing Algieri means nothing, Floyd most likely wouldn't have even dropped him.

                      2. Pacquiao Is no where near as careless as he was before Marquez caught him with the KO shot.

                      3. Mayweather better hope his legs work, he better continue to move and he better hope he Is prepared for the speed that Pacquiao brings and sparring Judah and Corley ain't gonna get It.

I agree with the Canelo analysis as far as Canelo trying to overwhelm Floyd. Didn't happen and would not ever happen. Pacquiao Isn't Canelo.
