I knew Chavez was in trouble when he kept complaining to the ref early. I won't say Chavez sucks--but its clear without the size advantage, or if he fights a guy who's speed and elusiveness nullifies same (see Martinez) he's not nearly as good.

The layoff and fighting in a new division for the first time definitely played a role in this. His best bet is to try 168. But asking for a rematch at 170 is ridiculous.

You don't have to say it but that is the case, he doesn't have any talent.

Jcc jr went up in weight because when he was fighting at 160 he was coming in on fight night at 190. Do you remember his fight against rubio? It was obscene how much bigger he was that night. There was a reason rubio was convinced he was on diuretics. Golovkin is a smaller 160. He can make 154. In a sense, he is aleady fighting at a higher weight. This just makes no sense. If ggg and jcc jr were to fight ggg would murder him.

Damn, Chavez looked like he just delivered Dominos pizza to Fonfara's gym and got invited into the ring to spar with his idol.

Should have known. He is sponsored by No Mas like his pops.

I shudder to think about Kovalev would have done to Chavez.

But his pops had stool-quit in him too. It's genetic.

Chavez Jr; is this one of the monsters on Sergio's resume?

I have said it before. Dudes look like Jeff Lacy until they get Lacy'd.

All this Maravilla shyt and you have to take a serious look at the journeymen on his resume. I think Paul Williams was Sergio's best win in the past decade. A Haymaker win.

The ability to garner interest off of people's nostalgia over his father is his greatest asset, number two is to absorb punches from much smaller men.
