I think Hagler has some somewhat valid points. I'm happy for Mayweather. He came from a bad situation and now he's financially set. His children are going to be financially set. He's dedicated his life to the sport of boxing and put in countless nights of hard work and dedication. But his attitude wreaks of immaturity out of the ring.

Not just his legal issues. But the fact that he has to post what cars he has and the price tags. How much money he gambles etc. No one really cares about that stuff. I mean we all know you're one of the richest black athletes in the world. What's the point of showing all this stuff off? Ok even if you show it off, what's the point of showing the price tag? To prove to us you're rich? We get it.

I don't know if Mayweather has given back to any thing but I'm not the judge of that. I really don't care if he gives back or not. He's going to be judged with whatever he decided to do with the money God blessed him with. But flashing price tags of cars, million dollar bet slips, etc. etc., what is the point? I think that's the aspect Hagler is touching on.

Nah, you're wrong. Hagler is jealous he never had the same type of financial success as Money May despite putting the same type of dedication in his field.

I remember watching a clip of Ray Mancini calling Floyd the modern day Houdini, saying that Floyd was hood winking the fans. In the same clip Mancini said if he were in Floyd's position he'd do the same exact thing... LOL, like WTF?
They have the right to be bitter. Floyd jerking the fans cherry picking his opponents getting paid millions while these use fought the best nearly killed themselves and for peanuts.

If he bashed Pac would you say the same thing? Would you call him a hater? Or would you laugh and agree with him? My guess is the latter.

Also this idea that Manny walks around as some saint and Mayweather is the villain is nonsense. This guy Pacquiao is not any different than Mayweather. Both are imperfect human beings who have made mistakes. Manny Pacquiao may be well liked in the sport. But I think this perception that he's a walking saint is nonsense.

Making statements like " God will bring me the victory " just shows a true lack of understanding. Wearing rosary beads around your neck and making a cross sign on your chest don't count for anything. And though he hasn't had many legal issues, he's definitely had some character issues that came out.

We're always quick to judge. Mayweather this, Mayweather did this, etc. I don't worship the ground the guy walks on. But I'm not going to criticize the guy because he made mistakes or he's created some bad guy image. The same people who criticize the guy proclaim they walk a higher path but make dumb decisions as well.

I do believe many of the greats are jealous of the success of Mayweather. Maybe it's not necessarily the success but the fact that he proclaims he's the TBE. Maybe they take offense to that. Maybe they think it's disrespectful. But it's his opinion and opinions of others. He is one of the all time greats though like it or not. But I think his ****y attitude causes other greats to dislike him and root against him. More fuel for the fire.

Tell him Hagler. This fool has no idea what awaits him on May 2nd lol. Gods strenght will be behind every punch. God used to murder his enemies back in the day in the old testament. Expect to watch Gods punishing hand on May 2nd.

It is good to see that Hagler is still bought and paid for by Arum all these years later, he always was his *****. Surprised if Hagler doesn't get a job calling fights for Arum because he can toe the company line~

So are you also going to assume that he's jealous of every financially successful boxer in the sport? Does he get jealous because all these fighters are having financial success that he didn't? It doesn't add up. I'm not saying you're wrong really. I don't know for sure. What I do know is from what he's saying he doesn't like that he's a showboat and wondering if he's giving back.

I take it amongst many people including me, he's wondering what's the point of flashing all these cars and showing off price tags. He's not flashing how much he gives to charity or flashing how much he donated to disease research etc. He's just flashing car prices and bet slips. I think Hagler doesn't really understand that and it really does change the way one assesses your character.

I don't know about Hagler. But being jealous of someone's financial success is not a good way of thinking. We all die and we all will be put into the ground. In the end I would rather be remembered for someone who helped others. When a rich man is buried, what good will all that money do you? Just as life is temporary, so is money. It's ****** to be jealous of someone because of money. Because there's many more things in life that matter. So if that really is his stance he should reconsider.
