Since when is Hagler unbiased when it comes to Top Rank? He has never gone against them in his whole life.

It is like James Carville saying he supports Hillary and talking smack about **********s (or Ann Coulture talking smack about Hillary and big upping Ted Cruz if you like that analogy better).

It is to be expected if you know who is talking.

As far as the "put you to sleep line," people have been saying that for so long that I don't really consider it an insult anymore. The guy has been the #1 draw in the sport for nearly a decade with no endorsements, and the popular opinion (public and professional) that he's a coward, so the excitement must come from somewhere if he's so boring and so hated :/
I agree with you...where exactly was the swipe? he sounded kind of ambivalent

Its not just Floyd who has big bank, Jay-Z, Denzel, Eddie Murphy this list goes on. But because Floyd has taken on a role of villain and made it work for him Hagler and other former black boxer's want him to act the way the white man told them how to act. These guys don't have inside knowledge of what Floyd has given back and they shouldn't know since that's that man's business. I hate it when people expect because you have money you owe the world something. I never hear these guy's get on rich white folks about giving back. I feel like this, if a person has made a billion dollars by doing what he wants to do he doesn't owe anyone jack sh't. As long as that person has done right in his mind he/she shouldn't be expected to give back to anyone. It's so sad how everybody and their momma has an opinion on what someone else should be doing. Handle your own business the best you can and stop worrying about the next person. Floyd IMO don't owe me anything, I purchase his fights because I can afford them and appreciate the way he fights, same way I did when Hagler was fighting. To judge Floyd because he takes pictures with his money, car's or whatever is a sign of jealousy. I thought Hagler and the other guy's criticizing Floyd were bigger mentally than that, but I see they can't get that slave mentality out of their heads. Sorry Hagler my brother but you are dead wrong and should check yourself. If Floyd making all this money bothers you then don't stop at just him. Go out and attack every successful black man and tell them how you think they should be giving back and I'll pretty much guarantee they'll tell you to mind your own damn business.
Every successful black man or white man isn't posting pictures of his million dollar bet slips dude. No one said Mayweather owes anyone anything. What I think Hagler was getting at is he's quick to show off his material possessions but never what he does for anyone. Ok that's fine. Like I said I don't give a damn what Mayweather does with his money. But how a man acts shows his character. And I find it incredibly immature and ignorant to post price tags of your cars and million dollar bet slips. We get it Mayweather you made it and good for you. I'd rather see you there than in a jail cell or dead. I root for Mayweather to win.

I'm from Cleveland Ohio bruh. I know what it's like growing up in a single parent home. He always complained about how all his dad did was show him boxing. And how he never took him to go get ice cream or something normal. But it's the seed his dad implanted that got him where he is. I'm glad he realized that. Because some of us such as myself didn't have a dad to show them ****. You want to talk about how the white man want us to think? What do you see on BET and every rap video and in every song? Brothers talking about how much money they got and the cars they drive and all they hoes. That's a black mentality. The white man didn't tell them to do that. That's a slave mentality. Influencing the children that is ok to sell drugs, **** a lot of *****es, and shoot people. That's a slave mentality.

Hagler has a right to voice his opinion. And since he's a former great and boxer, they probably going to get his opinion about boxing and other boxers. Not every successful black or white athlete. I won't never envy anyone for nothing. Don't have to. It's never what you have in life but how you live that matters. Everyone that says something not favorable towards Mayweather isn't a hater man.

I do notice a lot of the greats really don't like Mayweather. It's repetitive. I think Roy Jones was trying to bad mouth Mayweather for Jessie Vargas sake to get the Pacquiao fight. But yeah it's logical to believe that some of these guys don't like him because they don't respect his body of work. Or they don't think he would be that good in their era. Or many other reasons.

He's hands down the best boxer of my era. Roy Jones was there and he faded away. Mayweather's the only one that continued to consistently dominate the sport for years. There probably is some envy there. I don't think its right either. But it is what it is. They all seem to be in agreement. Oscar De La Hoya, Mike Tyson, Roy Jones, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler, Holyfield, none of those guys seem to like Mayweather.

You are more like a Hagler butt kisser. Let's get one thing straight, not one of these former black boxer's would turn down the type of money Floyd is making. They talk all this giving back when it comes to black fighters. They are only concern with what Floyd does with his money. So what he takes pictures with his wealth. One thing we or they, HELL everyone should know and that's all the money I the world won't follow you once you're dead. So as long as the man pays the IRS I could care less what he does with his money and everyone else shouldn't care either. It's his, he made it and since this is a free country he should be able to do whatever the hell he wants to do with it. All this negative feedback/comments about Floyd by any black athlete shows me just how jealous blacks still are of another brothers success. Hatred among blacks will forever be what separates us from getting ahead. Floyd Mayweather doesn't owe me one dime because I bought some of his ppv's. If buying something from someone else meant they own me then I'm owed one hellava check.

                  Ducked fight after fight.

Hagler was the type of guy that would fight anybody, never made excused and was known for what he did in the ring. Never needed no propaganda machine.
