I dont get why when an all time great like hagler or Ali or Tyson or holyfield or Spinks, it Roy Jones Jr. Or Larry Holmes says something bad about Floyd, all his fans basically think that they are traitors. Welcome to the 90s where people are judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin!
If you notice everyone of those that criticize this man's character once had the same wealth as Floyd. To top it they are all black and each had their character in some shape or form questioned. They like you and I have our opinions, but for blacks who talk about giving back and Floyd being this and that perpetuates what white America thinks of black people. All those that you name were hated by the Jim Lampley's and Larry Merchant's of the boxi g world. They couldn't wait until someone shut them up by beating them and since Floyd can't be beat (even by this little test ducking juicer Pacroid) he'll be hated until he retires. Floyd will tied Rocky's record because in these last tow fight he wo t leave it in the judges hands. But if he tries to break it they will rob him the same way Larry Holmes was robbed in the Spinks fight.
Super misleading title.......I didn't see the diss at all. He favors Floyd to win. That's all that matters to me....all that junk he was talking about Floyd outside the ring means nothing because IDC about what he does outside the ring.
I guess anyone who can't stand Mayweather is either a hater (a fan) or jealous (ex boxer) The truth is, most boastful people are not popularly liked. The difference with PBF is that he is widely looked upon as a ducker who cherry picked his way to big money and short changed the fans like me. I was a die hard PBF fan. I had no choice but to completely turn away from him 'cause his integrity is low. I do see him as a coward and very disrespectful once he knows he can walk all over you. He is hushed now for this fight 'cause he knows he's in with a guy who would most likely beat his ass. He also does not have the grit of a true warrior. We all judge each other whether it's right or it's wrong, we still do it. When you say the old boxers are jealous or anything else, you're judging.
Ali was not too liked because of his boasting. The difference is he took on every meaningful heavyweight in his day. Could you say the same about PBF? I could go on all day saying things that has made me turn against PBF but I don't like digging that **** up. All I can say in one sentence is: His integrity is low, he is highly insecured and he is highly overrated. Manny is going to beat him. All the great boxers favor PBF to win 'cause his ring intelligence is better than Manny. I'll tell you this: they're all wrong. Manny is highly underrated in this fight. He's going to expose Floyd huge. Maidana exposed Floyd; the problem is no one saw it. I saw it big time.
Also this idea that Manny walks around as some saint and Mayweather is the villain is nonsense. This guy Pacquiao is not any different than Mayweather. Both are imperfect human beings who have made mistakes. Manny Pacquiao may be well liked in the sport. But I think this perception that he's a walking saint is nonsense.
Making statements like " God will bring me the victory " just shows a true lack of understanding. Wearing rosary beads around your neck and making a cross sign on your chest don't count for anything. And though he hasn't had many legal issues, he's definitely had some character issues that came out.
We're always quick to judge. Mayweather this, Mayweather did this, etc. I don't worship the ground the guy walks on. But I'm not going to criticize the guy because he made mistakes or he's created some bad guy image. The same people who criticize the guy proclaim they walk a higher path but make dumb decisions as well.
I do believe many of the greats are jealous of the success of Mayweather. Maybe it's not necessarily the success but the fact that he proclaims he's the TBE. Maybe they take offense to that. Maybe they think it's disrespectful. But it's his opinion and opinions of others. He is one of the all time greats though like it or not. But I think his ****y attitude causes other greats to dislike him and root against him. More fuel for the fire.
