As long as Caribe Promotions has Rigo in that vice, pigeonholing themselves into co-promoting every Rigo fight (without actually doing any promotional work), no real promoter/manager is going to touch Rigo with a ten-foot pole.

can u blame them for not workin with TR who would not host a show in Miami with cubans on display?? they have the best interest in hand for their guy..he needs to be fighting in miami or at least a island near cuba where his legend is real and appreciated

How is that good for the fans when haymon has a huge stable of top.talent and has for years put on the crappiest fights in boxing and the trend is continuing with pbc. Lets compare this weekends 2 cards. On showtime/al haymon you have Chavez loud smoker Jr. Vs. A pretty good light heavyweight for an international belt. The undercard is a bunch of nobodies. On hbo/goldenboy/toprank we get Crawford/dulorme and mathysse/provodnikov on the same card and they are all ranked top 5 wbo at 140. HBO top rank and golden boy are in the business of the best fighting the best and crowd pleasing fights. They don't want runners like rigo or pusses like Danny Garcia, Adonis Stevenson, Leo Santa Cruz, Peter quillen, amir khan, Leo Santa Cruz, Adrien broker, Chavez Jr, basically all the fighters in boxing who have either ducked fights, vacated belts, or were champions who didn't defend their belts. Also included in that list are the guys who call out the top fighters but then continually fight tune up fights. Al haymon gives us tune up fights wtf is that bullcrap?

Have you all noticed how long he has been sidelined from the mainstream? Because of people like me. I won, and so did the fans who let it be clear we will not tolerate running cowards in this sport. All the years of switching channels during his fights or flat out skipping his cards, it paid off. We won. Haha, I got the last laugh, I got him out of boxing. So happy to see him struggling, he is boring as ****.

While I don't quite wish the ills on Rigo that you do, I completely agree with this mindset.

Entertaining the fans is the ONLY reason professional boxing exists. THE ONLY REASON.

I don't care if you are an undisputed champion in three weight classes; if you spoil your way to victory fighting on the backfoot the whole damn fight, you do not belong on television. Period.

99% of boxing fans and people who watch fights want to see Pacquiao-Marquez, Berto-Ortiz, Rios-Alvarado, Bradley-Provodnikov, etc, and these fans do not owe anyone a living.

Entertain the people. If you do not, you can get the **** out of the sport.

u mention lucas like danny and kick his butt..and then another haymon fighter kicded danny but while provo got beat by an espn fighter...chill out u tard..crawford aint proved a thing imo fighting smaller guys and getting rocked while doing and outboxed at times...we'll see

I'm glad Oscar de le Hoya and Artie pellulo of main events were taking jabs at al haymon for refusing to work with other promoters and being difficult to put together the best fights. People need to call haymon out on his bs more often. Bob arum has been the main one calling haymon out for years. He called him the wizard of oz a couple days ago . More people need to start calling this blow hard haymon out more often so that he will work with other promoters and we fans get the best fighting the best. Roc nation signed cotto and ward to huge deals but guess what, they will never fight a al haymon fighter. How anyone can not see that is bs is beyond me. Just a bunch of D riding fans but fail to see what a leach and a culture vulture al haymon is.
