Then he should be breathalise at the station with the result proving if he was over or under the limit, and if he refuses it means he fails the test. Simple, I have never seen a developed country with such an outdated testing procedure, standing next to the road walking on line? As far as the test are concerned they are standardized field sobriety test to check balance coordination etc. There is also much more to it then what we witnessed on the video. And what the police aren't going to tell a suspected drunk driver is the fact that the field sobriety test are actually voluntary and you do not by have to do them. With that said, the blood test and breathalyzer are not voluntary and refusing to do them can get you arrested. What I thought was a tad bizarre is that the police officer had Broner walking the line out on the actual street. She couldn't find a safer place like say the sidewalk that was just a few feet from them?
