Martinez vs Sturm. Swan song fights for both.
WTF?? Did you see the Cotto fight? My deceased grandfather has better legs than Sergio at this point.

Yea, I thought he had enough, left in the tank, but I was wrong.

what? that fight was a damn scam. a retirement fund for martinez. he knew he couldn't compete as a boxer anymore. he conned everyone so he could make a profit. you don't get props for that. and cotto going around pretending he's the man for beating a disabled person is downright pathetic. then add to that the ducking of ggg and he looks even worse. cotto-martinez is going to be on hbo's unlegendary nights someday.

yeah i agree. he was basically disguising his injury for that one last payday. or who knows maybe in his heart he thought he could beat the smaller cotto even with bad legs.

Stevie wonder could see he wasn't right in that cotto fight, not taking anything away from cotto but whoever pass him for that fight either just want Martinez to get his final payday for his lifetime future.

Sad to see him go out like that. He's one of the few current boxers that I can say with conviction that he was one of my favorite fighters.
