HBO is pulling the strings. They have been all along. They were behind the Haymon lawsuit which got Oscar to flinch and run back. But I get it. It's business and they see Haymon flossin his PBC all over ther place. They need to hold on to what ever fighters they have. It's basically Crawford, GGG, Kovalev, and Canelo.

Can't really call this a duck. It's obvious Kovalev has a contract with HBO and fighting on another network, especially a PBC network, isn't going to fly with HBO. Food for thought: why can't both teams negotiate without a purse bid? If Stevenson isn't tied to any network like they say, why can't team stevenson agree for the fight to be on HBO? I'm not buying this "we want the fight" and "they're" walking away stuff.

why should stevenson OR kovalev leave money on the table just because hbo doesnt want to compete with PBC. the fight should absolutely go with the network that will put up the most money.

because duva requested an EXPEDITED (30 day) purse bid. and duva is worth millions she has money too why doesn't she put some money up for her fighter and win the bid and place the fight on hbo?

its a clear duck when she knew she would re-up with HBO went got in mando position knew in advance they was going do a expedited purse bid and back out 3 days before hand and also limiting the money of her fighter who she should have in her best interest especially taking bombs from one hand Stevenson

this is what people keep dismissing. Duva has every right to bid, people are acting like only haymon can bid and automatically assume its going to be on pbc. why not stage the fight wherever the fighters maximize their purses
