So let me get this right, somehow Kovalev saying I deserve more than 30% of a purse bid is now a duck. Yet the other guy changed handlers and network but it wasn't ducking? Duva is doing what makes the most financial sense, Kovalev getting 30% made sense back during the first time she tried to make this fight, NOW..he's worth much more than 30%. Funny people call this a duck but seem to have missed the part where she went right to Yvon directly to negotiate more money for her guy...but it's a duck somehow.

The purse bid was not 50/50 no purse bid between a mandatory and a champion for the WBC is 50/50. She does have to do what's best for her fighter and a multi fight deal with HBO is doing right by Kovalev. He has a wife and a new baby son and should have finacial security. Now Haymon did punk out Duva but who's really surprised by that?

That's completely on par with the info we have here in Montreal... Never heard or read anything else than 50/50 for that particular fight...
