Is Kovalev scared of power punchers?

    Why doesn't he fight any?

Hardest punchers on his resume he's ever fought were Boone and Sillakh, Boone a journeyman, Sillakh fresh off a KO loss against Grachev.

Now we hear about him ducking Stevenson, one of the hardest punchers in the division smh.

He's been KO'd in the amateurs, confirmed to have been dropped by GGG in sparring, dropped hard by Boone, even Pascal was rocking him.

KO'd despite having protective head gear.

Pascal backing him up whenever he landed and rocked him a few times. Keep in mind Jean Pascal has had 1 KO victory in the past 6 years

Every time I see him get hit he's dropping his hands or backing up, but nobody he fights has the power to really make him suffer.

Kovalev is not ducking Stevenson and he has nothing to do with his promoter deciding to pull out of the purse bid. If you read her reasons for doing so, they make perfect sense. Have the purse bid after both fighters have their next fights and after the May-Pac frenzy is over. Having a purse bid so far in advance of the fight is ******.

Another ******ed post by you. Lol@pascal rocking him. You think a guy getting punched in the face is on the verge of being put in a coma. Go make another thread about how lebron would be the heavyweight champ.

I don't think he is scared of power punchers just because he allowed Duva to walk away from the purse bid.

Duva probably is because Kovalev will either get them or get got first, that sort of 50/50 scenario is no longer a good gamble for Main Event.

Kovalev himself, nobody wants to get hit super hard but aside from that Kovalev has his confidence still so I would guess he would think he would take them out first.

You can tell Kovlaev doesn't respond to getting hit well just by looking at him get hit, what do you think is going to happen against a much harder puncher? When he gets tagged to the body he drops his hands and backs up, when he gets hit to the head his head snaps back and he starts to back up, and he has a history of getting rocked/dropped. His defense isn't very good either, his offense is his defense.

Wilder becoming a champ pretty much proved my point, that's sad too, one of our bottom of the barrel athletes competing with the elite, shows the depth of talent in these sports lmao.
