Well whatever, offer 1p more than what Quigg's highest purse was and it's still his highest purse and something he wouldn't get somewhere else - does that make it a good offer for a fight of this magnitude? No it doesn't.

Quigg is a clear B-side against Frampton - so Frampton should be offered the higher split of all the revenue. Brook is a clear B-side against Khan - who knows what the actual deal Hearn was offering was? Was it $5m guarantee flat rate?

Hearn needs to stop acting like he controls boxing and everyone should dance to his tune. He's beginning to look like a royal **** and very desperate indeed.
You don't honestly think the difference between Froch and Ward is the same as the difference between Quigg and Frampton. It's cringey that people are talking about "A" sides and "B" sides constantly. Just regurgitating Floyd Mayweather.

Fact is Quigg brings Sky PPV and a promoter with the money. Frampton is the bigger profile, but doesn't have the backing.

Not really - Quigg can fight Rigondeaux or someone else and still get paid more than his last purse. So could Frampton. But neither guy are ever going to see £1.5 million from a fight. they are super bantamweights ffs.

If Frampton or his team has an idea how to make it happen, I think they should offer Hearn and Matchroom a deal. But they haven't got any money to even come close to what Sky can, so what's the point?

One thing I don't understand is that we have a PPV show May 2nd, one on May 30th, they want Quigg-Frampton July 20th and then again Brook vs Rios in August all on PPV.

      That's a right laugh.

@ "the backing". So all Matchroom fighters are entitled to the lions share of the purse because they have got Sky backing even though no one knows who the *** Scott Quigg is. The guy sells tickets to his fights out of his ***ing mum's chippy. He's a complete nobody even in Manchester.

Matchroom and Quigg will certainly see more than $1.5m for the fight through the revenue streams - most of which will be sold on Carl Frampton's name and which they want to give Frampton none of. Oh unless he agrees to 60/40 to the winner - something Hearn would never agree to if he had Frampton in his stable.

Eddie Hearn knows this and has actually mugged you completely off into thinking it's a good deal. Just like Mayweather made you believe $40m was a good deal.

Hearn thinks you can do business by treating fighters and other promoters like a Vegas Hooker by chucking money at them.

He has no concept of respect, when conducting business.

He booked a venue for Khan's next fight and he's not even his promoter. When he stops acting like The Godfather of British Boxing, slagging off other fighters and their promoters on Twitter trying to shame them into fights, and starts conducting his business in the right way, he'll find that those people will be more willing to work with him.

I understand why these guys are telling him to fück off. I would too. He's a spoilt rich kid who hasn't had to struggle in life like these fighters have. And they aren't going to start prostituting themselves to Hearn because he flashes a cheque on live TV.

Says Algieri fight isn't a done deal after having previously announced it on his wife's YouTube channel.

Says he never turned down a final eliminator with Bradley, to which the IBF publicly confirms that he did just that.

Blames Eddie Hearn for spreading rumours that Showtime rejected his fight with Algieri, despite Dan Rafael announcing that they did so.

Now he apparently needs a few weeks to prepare himself for Ramadan, despite having fought within a week of it's start against both Judah & Garcia.

So all the other excuses are BS and actually Hearn's mouth is the reason the fight hasn't happened yet?
