Peterson edged it for me but I wouldn't have been mad if it was draw.

No bias in this thread. Lmao. That's what I hate about boxing fans. No shame. I hate Garcia but I'm not letting that cloud my judgement. I thought he won a7-5 or 8-4 type of fight.

I didn't score the fight. I can evaluate the fight much better by not scoring. I thought both fighters fought well at times. Couldn't argue with 115-113 for either fighter. I think we are going to have Garcia/Peterson II and Lee/Quillin II on the same card around September.

            115-113 Garcia

Thought Peterson finished as the stronger fighter, but ran out of time on my card. He came into the fight with a clear advantage on the inside yet failed to use the advantage until it was too late...a miscalculation. Garcia was getting out maneuvered in the first half..but to his credit showed some angst in attempting to pursue Peterson and landed what he could while Peterson wasn't really throwing or landing meaningful shots...Garcia probably got some of those rounds even when he was getting visibly frustrated...but continued to pursue. And that's the right thing to do, he got the benefit of the doubt in those close rounds. Anyway Peterson showed he could go inside and do what he wanted, he looked confident enough doing it, he should have started earlier.

Felt pretty confident in my scoring that Garcia won. Peterson definitely came close to challenging in the end though.

There's no fuc*ing way Garcia won 8 rounds in this fight, the people saying probably gave him all the early rounds which is bull****.

A draw but, the running early on in the first half the fight is what gave Danny the decision. Good action the last 5 rounds of the fight !!

                      I scored it a draw.

I can see why Garcia won though because of the early workrate, and I can see at least the whole first half of the fight being scored for him.

I knew this fight will be a close one, with no clear winner. People don't understand that Lamont Peterson gets stronger as the fight wears on. This is why I think he would had beaten Matthyse if the ref didn't stop the fight.
