But, yes, late in the fight Lamont was really giving it to Danny
    Peterson x2
    Garcia x4
    Peterson x1
    Garcia x2
    Peterson x1
    Garcia x1
    Peterson x1

Or something like that. I could see a draw, but that decision doesn't bug me.

I thought Garcia edged the close fight, but only because Peterson threw away too many rounds. Lamont was clearly the better fighter this night.

9-3/8-4 Peterson. He outboxed Gift on the outside and outworked him on the inside. People keep saying Peterson didn't do enough in the early rounds but wtf did Fanny do? Punch thin air? Peterson embarrassed and dominated Fanny.

That's a strange fight. That's one of the paradox of boxing, Peterson clearly gave more damage to his opponent. Garcia was clearly not at ease at the end and was having a rough time in there. I think Peterson landed the best shots by far during the fight.

HOWEVER, i scored the fight for Garcia. In boxing you can outrageously dominate 4 rounds, if you give away the 8 other rounds by doing nothing than you will lose all these rounds by a close margin, and at the end youll lose the fight.

That's what happened tonight, Peterson could have won, but he just gave too many gifts round to Garcia, so in my books he deserves the loss. Too little too late, hope hell learn the lesson.

It was a close fight, but in the end I had Peterson winning. Great fight!

Peterson did himself a disservice from not being aggressive early or maybe starting a round or 2 earlier. Thought it was a close fight but i had it for Garcia 115-113

9-3 Peterson, I understand people's position about the early rd strategy of Peterson but disagree with it because general aggression is not a scoring criteria I don't give the rd automatically for coming forward and trying.

But I saw enough to believe Danny's chances at 147 are slim.
He'll suffer the same fate everyone does at 147 win some lose some.
