He was good at 135 but since being schooled by Abril and then moving up what has he actually done to show he is any good, was getting beat by Chavez before a dodgy DQ,hammered by Pacqauio beat and then got beat by Alvarado and beat a mentally ****ed up Alvarado for the trilogy. How does this make him better than Alexander?

Getting his ass beat by Porter, losing every round to Khan. At the lower weight (where he belongs) he got gift decisions over Kotelnik and Matthysse and then ran from the division after getting beat down and quitting against Bradley.
I'm not claiming Rios is a great fighter, he's just a solid pressure fighter. What I am saying is that Alexander is FAR from a 'way better' fighter than Rios.Comment

What has Alexander done?

Alexander has proved far more than Rios against top opposition. Witter, Corley Uranago, Karrass, Maidana , Purdy , Bailey all dominant performances. Went tight with Kotelnik, Mattesssye. Put up a decent fight with Bradley before quiting, porter beat him down but Alexander did win a few rounds and then A bad showing against Khan. All this versus a dogdy DQ win against a tough fighter but not someone who was even in the top 10, a win against Alvarado aswell as a loss, A Dq against peterson, a schooling from Abril , a beating from Pacqauio. I dont think you can objectively make a case for Rios
You just listed Lee Purdy as 'top competition'....the only 'top' guy on that list is Maidana, and it was his first fight at 147 and it was dreadful, it was nothing but slap and hold for 12 rounds.
He was not close with Kotelnik, he got outboxed entirely and its one of the worst decisions in recent memory. Alexander's loss to Khan was worse than Rios' loss to Pacquiao, at least Rios lost to one of the best.
None of these guys have great resumes, but Rios is a more difficult fight than Alexander is.Comment

Dominating and Devon Alexander should really not go in the same sentence. Have you even ever watched him fight?
Rios last performance was devastating. Alexander looked like a novice.Comment

Bradley Khan Maidana Mattysse Kotelnik Porter all very good fighters and compared to Rios , you cant compare.
Alvardo was a mess everyone acknowledged that, good win but was this guy mentally right. Alvarado is also not very good either way and Alexandr would be a books favourite against him.
You just compared two fights against totally different levels of opponent. Alexander have ahcieved and proven more than Rios.Comment

Khan went out there and cleaned up the mess Brook had left behindComment
