Sergio's pride has had some time to act up and now he is trying to rescue his "legacy" by implying he was 90 years old and in a wheelchair when he fought Cotto. I like his comment immediately after the fight better, "I got caught cold and could not recover all night..."

Sensitive Sergio now in pride mode. All good. After all, he does not want people to come to the conclusion his career as journeyman killa was exposed by Cotto in the end. "The knee doe..."

Ah, I remember when 70% of NSB were like "even a shot Sergio is going to spark out Cotto!"

          Sergio was a bum

Sergio threw one wild left hook that landed on the human toothpick Tall Paul and made a fake reputation after that. beat a drunk in Pavlik and a fat lazy mexican dope smoker in Chavez jr. Sergio was a joke and was humilaited by the average small Cotto. Good riddance one knee

funny how people still think cotto fight was legit. Sergios legs were done. No one knew how bad his knees were till the fight night, thats why they thought even if his knees were not 100% he would still win. But in reality it was much worse than people assumed.

Think about it, 70% people still thought crippled Bad knees Martinez had a great shot, doesn't say much about Cotto.

I think there is truth to this. For the most part, Sergio was beating carnival freaks and son's of legends.

I said these, right here, even before the Murray fight...

DiBella: “I think some of the advice he’d gotten in Spain from doctors there wasn’t the same advice he’d have gotten from the top knee guys in New York."

                    No.

Nobody knew how overrated Sergio's wins over Pavlik and Chavez truly were til fight night.

Actually, it says more about the haters and their wishful thinking. What's next? GGG doe! Oh yeah, they already started calling for yet another mismatch for Cotto. Haters are thirsty to see Cotto fail.
