What is the worst way to lose?

Shut out or getting knocked out? Is their really any positive to take away from surviving to lose a UD or is it better to try go for the KO and risk getting stopped yourself?

Either way sucks for a fighter but I like when fighters go out on their shield instead of just "surviving" the 12 rounds.

Honestly I'd rather get knocked out. Getting KTFO is still a horrible way to lose but I'd take a lot more consolation in the fact that the fight was close and I got a caught with one shot. You could still sleep at night knowing that you could get back in the ring with that dude, and if you didn't get caught again, that you could win.

If you get shut the f**k out over 12 rounds...you know for a fact that homey is just out of your league and way f**king superior to you as a fighter.

      gimme the ko

When you get beat up and shut out for 36 min straight.

When you cant find a way to win 3 min of the night ,thats
gotta be the ultimate mind fck and the ultimate embarrassment.

depends, I say a shut out UD cause then you couldent even compete.

A Knockout in a battle is nothing to be ashamed about, but a knocout after losing everyround is bad.

But bottom line both are L's

the worst way to lose has to be how ndam lost to quillen. School the guy but get knocked down so many times you lose a decision.

I guess that depends really. You could lose a lopsided UD, but not take very much punishment or you could get the living **** beat out of you for 12 rounds. I imagine a 12 round beating could physically take a bigger toll than knockout in round 3. So I say physically it depends on the situation...actually psychologically too I guess.....but if it were just me in my imaginary boxing career then getting knocked out seem far more spectacular, people would replay that ****, make gifs and vines, memes and probably make up a term for how I hilariously crumpled to the canvas. Every interview they would play that **** and ask "hey remember that time you got KTFO".A knockout is the perfect bite sized content to repeat forever... whereas a long protracted UD there may be nothing in particular to point to, just the general notion that I wasn't as good as the other guy. SO for me personally, i'd rather lose the UD.

If floyd losses may 2 is gonna be the worst lost by far in boxing....
Youre talking about a 6 year of ducking, talking **** about pacquiao (poochiao), accusing him of PEDs (without proof), not being able to read, woman beater.... If pacquiao wins i can see floyd killing himself and his fans too....
No joke, for the sake of their lives i hope floyd wins.

If pacquiao losses, who cares? He already has 5 losses.

You bring up a good point -

before I would automatically say that.. boxing wise ..the long, drawn out late TKO type of fight where a fighter physically loses something are the worst.

But with the advent of all the internet humiliation that goes along with a KO of any kind, a one punch KO that happens in 3 rounds is probably harder to shake now than it ever has been
