You can never compare 2 shots like you just did. No 2 shots are alike.

Floyd knows that even this version of Manny is not going to be easy. Look at Bradley when he tried backing up Manny. Manny comes right back ......
If Manny can't keep the pressure on, he can't win. The more time Floyd isn't being swamped by activity, the worse its gonna be for Manny. Because we know it won't hurt Floyd's feelings at all to work behind his jab at a safe distance, landing just enough "power punches" to win rounds.

Early on, I would think that Manny will not be putting any high in intensity pressure. He will be just content in doing just enough to win the rounds clearly. Once Floyd figures out that Manny may be winning the early rounds, Floyd will have to engage more. The more Floyd engages, the more it will favor Manny.

So you think Manny wins rounds against Floyd without high activity?

Early on, I think it will be more of a technical fight. While some may think that gives Floyd the edge but Floyd is usually a slow starter. So I can see Manny winning more of the early rounds.

Manny will put more pressure as the fight goes on but it will be a measured type of pressure where he is aware of Floyd's positioning and possible counter attacks.

Of course there are 2 fighters in the ring. So anything can happen and no matter what their plans are they both will gauge in that ring on what they can and can't do . It may not be the same as in the gym.

I have a hard time envisioning a scenario where Manny basically outboxes Floyd. At the end of the day, Floyd's a better technical boxer. Not to mention he's the bigger guy. Manny is gonna have to close the distance to land. And Manny isn't doing much of the in-n-out attack he had at the lower weights. I think he'll have a bit of success shooting the lead straight left. But, he'll be lunging and eventually will be countered, probably with the pull counter or check hook.

No one is going to say that because Flroid is going to quit on his stool like ODLH did against Pac.
