From what I remember, Joe Gallagher said that if Rigo's people offered Quigg a million or thereabouts, they'd take the fight - can they not make an offer? I don't for one second believe Quigg would accept but no harm in trying.

Rigondeaux, like James Kirkland, is as dumb as a box of rocks. Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough sense to see that and continues to make the same dumb mistakes over and over again.

Rigo's promoter can't offer any amount because Caribe Promotions is not a legitimate promotional firm and probably doesn't even have $50,000 in the bank. They have a business license, an office in the basement of someone's house and they take a portion of Rigondeaux's purse or get paid off by another promoter, but that is all they do. Rigondeaux is their only client and they don't actually do any promoting. I doubt if Rigo makes $1.5 million pounds the rest of his career, let alone one fight.
