London is only a couple of hours drive away from Nottingham and Froch would have the same home advantage there - same officials, same crowd, same everything.

So why isn't Froch ok with London? And if Ward is ok with London, why is he saying "no" to Nottingham?

I'm inclined to agree with what other people have posted here. That neither side really wants this fight and "Nottingham or nowhere" is a handy way out for both.
Certainly seems like that, doesnt it?

Froch wants Chavez in Vegas. It's more winnable than v Ward anywhere.

However Ward doesnt want to fight anywhere other than West Coast USA.

Ward V Froch (anywhere) isnt going to happen is it? All the posturing is just that; neither side wants it.

I'm a big Froch fan but Ward wins this wherever.

No self-respecting fighter should ever fight in Nottingham again after what those shameless bastar.s did to Andre Dirrell there . It's was the worst robbery since Lewis/Holyfeild

Bullschit. Dirrell is definitely more skilful than Froch and has the ability to beat him, but maybe not the heart. Either way, Froch deserved the win in a close fight because Dirrell utterly failed to impose himself and stamp his authority on the
            fight.

How do u deserve a decision when u decisively lose every round ? When u say that he failed to impose his will , what exactly do u mean ? Dirrell put on a boxing clinic , he exemplified what the "sweet science" is all about ; stick and move aka hit and don't get hit back . So when u say Dirrell didn't impose will , that's completely baseless because Dirrells will was to hit Froch without getting hit back and that's exactly what he accomplished . Froch is the one who couldn't impose his will because he wasn't able to engage Dirrell at all therefore what he willed to do was completely nullified . WTF are u talking about ?

Translation for those that don't speak British... "We don't want to fight Andre Ward."

There’s a difference between imposing yourself while not getting hit, and running. The idea is to be affectively aggressive while remaining elusive. Dirrell only achieved the latter part of that. He ran and avoided doing what was required to make sure there was no doubt about the winner.

When Ward fought Froch he did the opposite. He remained defensive without running. He imposed himself so there was no doubt about his superiority. Clearly there was a doubt about Dirrell because there has been a debate about it ever since. You won’t hear many people saying Froch got robbed against Ward because Ward’s performance was decisive unlike Dirrell’s.

Don’t worry. Keep watching, you’ll get eventually.

Ward has fought on the East coast before. Willing to do it again. That's where he fought Froch. Get your facts straight.

That was a clear robbery. I'm only upset that Dirrell wasn't more passionate about the upset. He was and still is to this day, way too calm and nonchalant about it.
