Interesting how this is exactly the same post as someone made back in 2009 on the boxing 24 forum, identical right down to the quotation marks around certain numbers. I guess you must be the same guy who posted that, 'MrPR'. Interestingly enough, everyone over there questioned the validity of these 'stats' but a source was never provided. :gay:

I googled the stats on that fight and that's what came up . Then I later found out that it was the same stats that someone posted on here back in 09 . It is the same post , I don't know where they came from but the disparity does seem fairly accurate according to what I watched that day . The more important issue is , if these stats aren't official , why was it next to impossible to find the stats on that fight ? That should tell u something was very fishy in itself because I've never had ANY problem finding punch stats on any contemporary fight but they seemed to have sealed the files on this one , unless those stats were official

There was nothing official about those stats. If anyone is to blame about the lack of stats for that fight, it is Showtime who did not provide any official stats for the fight. Never have that problem with HBO because they use Compubox. Showtime were probably too cheap to send someone over to the UK to do the fight stats.

Glad to hear that your memory is so good that you can compare those stats with a fight that happened 6 years ago.

Anyone who posts punch stats should have links to back them up. If not, don't expect anyone to consider them to be accurate.

Why should Ward fight Froch in Nottingham, when Froch won't even rematch Andre Dirrell after getting a robbed decision in Nottingham?

What's amazing is how you ignore this, like Nottingham showed fairness to an American opponent that Froch faced last time. In Nottingham, to win you obviously don't have to be great, just be a UK fighter with some type of chin that can weather you to the end of the fight. That's not boxing and that's not how boxing should be scored regardless of where the match is held.

Your argument about Mayweather and Ward giving their discreditors' excuses is genuinely cheap crap. Read what you writing, you sound extremely brainless. Ward is able to dominate anyone without much problem, regardless of them being considered at the top of their sport, he makes them look like nothing compared to him. How is that a bad thing? Because he didn't fight an overrated Bute? Why bring up Mayweather? Because he's lineal champion in two weight divisions and P4P number 1? What's your beef? Because Froch and Pacquiao are no where near the P4P number 1 and 2 skill level?

Ward fighing Froch in Nottingham is not an option and should not be one until Andre Dirrell lost is turned in to a win or no contest due to incompetent judging.

Who ignored the Dirrell result, I made a whole post about it, stop whining clown LOL. And Mayweather has given his detractors plenty of reasons to throw shht at him, grow up and stop sucking off your favorite fighter, an honest knowledgable fan doesnt make excuses for their guy, and I have been following Mayweather since he turned pro.

I was one of the few people who agreed with Ward when he stated that Bute should prove himself, everyone demanded the fight, and many were denigrating Ward for the position that he took. Ward should have beat the shht out of Bute, and locked up the IBF belt to force everyone to come looking for him. In hindsight, it would have capped off the Super-6 win superbly. Ward had great momentum, but he has now regressed through lack of credible opposition and inactivity.

I like technicians, so Mayweather and Ward are two of my favorite fighters..... and Mayweather has been the best fighter on the planet since shortly after turning pro, regardless as to what the popularity contest polls think..... that doesnt mean Floyd doesnt say the dumbest shht sometimes, just like you.

Neither of these fighters want or need this fight.

Ward has already booked and planned to fight in Oakland because he needs tune-ups.

Froch is waiting for Chavez Jr in a much more lucrative fight.

This is simply an inconvenience put forth by the WBA and neither fighter wants to lose face by blinking first.
