Who knows? But Cotto was definitely slowing down.

Was Margarito on his way to stopping Cotto in the Rematch?

We would never know. I thought he was really starting putting in the heat but Cotto in the rematch looked better conditioned and made less mistakes(like staying stationary against the ropes). To the Ricans it was revenge but to someone that traveled, I would of liked the fight to of gone 12 so there wouldn't be any mystery.

How are you gonna stop someone that was whooping your behind for the entire fight. I think the 9th was Margs best round and he still lost it. His punches had nothing on them, Cotto was even pushing him to the ropes and holding him there at times. Look at those body shots Margs landed in that round, they had NOTHING on them.

All Margarito really did was make a jackass out of himself by losing every round with that ****** looking grin the whole time.
Margarito lost and is probably one of the most overrated fighters in the past ten years, let it go already.

I just watched the fight. My answer to TS is no... I don't think Cotto was in trouble. Cotto was outboxing Margarito. Also, when Miguel planted his feet he was connecting with bungalows to Tony's eye. Cotto was getting tagged though.
