So i say f*** Smith put his ass in the ring and beat some legends and world champions and then run his mouth.

Heres to hoping Hopkins beats the **** out of Tarver, unlikely but possible.

    Peace out
Dont care what you say in the 1st fight Tarver was robbed. Fact!

I agree Tarver was robbed in the first fight. Also Tarver was the first man to beaten Jones. Many fighters are not the same fighter after they lose.

In my opinion Varges was never the same after he lost his first fight & Varges was in his early 20's. Also Tyson was never the same after he lost, Tsyon was also in his early 20's. I believe if Jones would've lost in his 20's he also would've not been the same. Some fighter just lose it after they lose.

Tarver could easily be a crowd pleaser if he would be more agressive in his fights

I think its because the public wasnt very interested in this fight which means not a lot of money.

I've watched the fight 2 different times & both times I had Tarver winning. Tarver should be 3-0 against Jones.

I saw the fight recently. Tarver won the first two rounds easily from throwing a decent amount of punches. Then he took the next FIVE rounds off. He barely threw anything, he allowed Roy to steal those five rounds. It was close and not very impressive but Roy won IMO. It couldve been a draw.

It was a hard fight to score, people will always argue who won the fight. Many thought Jones won & many though Tarver won. I just thought Tarver did land the more effective punches.

He most certainly did more damage with his punches, Roys looked like they didnt have anything on them.

First of all, Jones clearly beat Tarver in their 1st fight. Anyone who doens't think so is an idiot who has no idea how a fight is scored.

2nd, Jones was at or near 200lbs with a very low body fat %. It was all muscle that he shed. He also dropped it and beat a hungry bigger natural Lt Heavy in Tarver.

Tarver is dropping bulk weight (still remains to be seen how he handles it) to fight a 41 year old Middleweight.
