If I were the sanctioning bodies, I would strip all of Haymon's fighters the instant he introduced his own title belt and no longer permit their champions to fight on PBC cards.

I guess it's on the fans and the media not to recognise any PBC belt, to treat it like a lesser WBA interim or BKB belt or something.

I guarantee you they'll be recognised, and the argument used will be that they're as valid as any of the other alphabet belts.

Obviously outlets like Fight Hype will recognise them immediately, but in time shills like Kevin Iole and Malignaggi will do it too.

Haymon's control-freakery is out of control.

The rest of boxing will not just wither away and die. All this is doing is creating more obstacles and preventing more fights.

I had hoped new belts wouldn't be part of this. People not wanting to do business with those who are trying to surpass them does prevent fights from happening. change only threatens conformity, not the ability to make or produce.belts don't in anyway do that

that said, I will not give the PBC belts any recognition. I consider it the same I do the IBO, IBA, WBU and WBO-worthless.

If there is real competition for the belts I fail to see the issue, do you really give a **** about the WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO and why the **** should these mother ****ers who have done nothing but take from the sport be the ones running the competition?
