I just don't see how ward will keep kovolev honest and at bay... I think it will be more competitive than kov-hopkins, but I don't see how ward can neutralize the bigger kovolev...

He'll humiliate ward like he did Hopkins, only ward will get ko'd.

Ward is boring and has absolutely no poweri in his arsenal. No way he keeps the Krusher away. Eventually Kovalev will land and stops Ward 8-10 rds.

          Yes.

We saw in the Hopkins fight, Kovalev has learned how to avoid head butts.

In regards of clinching, I remember how Hopkins tried to clinch him and Kovalev just shoved him and immediately landed a left hook. Kovalev also got a nice stiff jab so i dont see Ward having much success outboxing him. There is also no reach advantage for Andre.

Kovalev avoided Hopkins' head butts very well too.

As of now Kovalev because he is active. I have a feeling Ward won't fight Kovalev until he at least fights four more times.

Why did Andre Ward want to fight Paul Smith at 172?

Is he having trouble making 168?

I imagine he'll be in the light heavyweight rankings after this fight.

I'd love to see Kovalev-Ward at 175 with a fair referee at a neutral location.

Ward won't be able to fight Adonis Stevenson because of the animosity between his new promoter and Al Haymon, but there will be nothing stopping him from fighting Kovalev.

Are we talking about Kovalev at 168, where Ward would want him?
