No one wants to see Lara run around the ring for 12 rounds, only to bit** and complain later that he didn't get the decision.

It's almost like they are forcing GGG being a bad ass down our throat by fighting little guys where it's to point where we want to see him be tested. At least I do, Murray was a good fight to watch because he put up at least some resistance. The trend of KO in 3 for this Mike Tyson hype has to stop, it isn't helping GGG as a fighter.

At the very least Lara is a better match up than whoever he's fighting right now.
        Clear logic, good post

As for Lara needing to test the waters at 160 first....Gabriel Rosado jumped straight from 154 into a title fight with Golovkin. Why can't Erislandy be given the chance to do the same thing?
I haven't seen Lara mention that he is willing to go up to 160 for the fight. Have I missed something? I thought his challenge included GGG dropping to 154 and that is a ridiculous expectation. If Lara wants to move up to 160, I would be fine with the fight. I think it would be a mismatch and Lara would get destroyed but it would be his choice.

            GGG's best win?

Is it just me or does level of competition have something to do with all this?

GGG could be great but I am going to need a little more proof.

Spot on. What baffles me is the GGG ball gaggers act as if it would be fine with them if he continued slapping the crap out of the no hopers and never face an A list opponent.

His best win to date? All of them.

Does level of competition matter? Of course it does. But GGG cannot force people to get in the ring with him. I think the fighters who refuse to fight him say more about his abilities than the fighters he has beaten do. But those fans who refuse to give him any credit at all do him a great disservice and a disservice to those who have had the courage to fight him as well.

And they will always think up some reason that GGG is not what he is claimed to be. If he was to fight Ward tomorrow and destroy him in a one sided victory, his detractors would claim that Ward was out of shape and not ready. IF he destroyed Cotto tomorrow, those same people would claim that Cotto was too small and had no business in the ring with him. They would make the same claim for Lara.

Nothing GGG can achieve will ever be satisfactory for some people. He is simply the wrong nationality and has the wrong color skin for them to ever grant him the accolades he deserves.

What A list opponent is willing to get in the ring with him? People always make these vague statements but never offer up any names to go with them. C'mon... break the mold and give us some names!!!

... But WHO exactly is supposed to make GGG great by finally getting in that ring with him?

Cotto???? an ex 140lb 34 year old?

Truth is, at 160lbs, the competition is almost non existent. So much that GGG fanatics are pinning the glory on a win over an ex Jr. Welter.

                    Facts.
