The hypocrisy of this post just tips all the scales. Don't play dumb! "Better competition" in MW avoids him. Especially the ones with belts.

he walks threw fighter that cant punch yea we know that already. lots of fighter have done that and then they met a fighter that hits hard and they didnt know what to do.

lol yea your not fighting guys that can hit hard and make him use his D. Murrey made GGG look like an amateur for the first couple of round and had absolutly no power to stop GGG from doing what he wanted to do.

GGG should fight a sakio beka to see how he does against a guy that isnt easily hurt and hits back but is a really winnable fight for him.. stop fighting espn fighter and brits that cant hit back on your level.
Are you aware that Sakio Bika is now TWO divisions above? What is so wrong with GGG wanting to unify HIS weightclass?

Why do you think he hasnt lived up to his original pledge to fight anyone between 154-168 and the #2 p4p is just one division above. If you strive for greatness and the #1 guy is soon to be retired you'd be fighting for #1 but you wont? didnt we call out floyd for not facing Canelo? What was the word used for Floyd when he didnt fight a guy who was 1 div above him...Same thing applies. Froch recently said he wouldnt fair well and he would know, GGG is a gimmick and probably on one of those undetectables...
It's easy to see that GGG's domination hurt your feelings. Dirrel LOST in amateurs - sorry mate but that's a fact. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VS_bMqjzAaI

Lara don't duck or hide behind promoters or managers..he's always on the front line looking for a scalp to add to his resume...props to him

with that said....I think Nelo's power made Lara uncomfortable enough to make the fight close...still think Lara edged it but I can see why the decision may have gone to Nelo

I honestly think GGG is a bigger puncher than Nelo and Perro...both were able to put Lara on his bike...Perro put him on his ass...GGG should take the fight, IMO he stops Lara....but then again there's a voice in my head saying Lara can outbox him and win 7-8 rounds

I think Lara could cause Golovkin some serious problems. The contrast in styles and skills would make for an interesting fight.

I agree. It would certainly be a more intriguing matchup than Willie Monroe.

As for Lara needing to test the waters at 160 first....Gabriel Rosado jumped straight from 154 into a title fight with Golovkin. Why can't Erislandy be given the chance to do the same thing?

I doubt daddy Al will let Lara fight on HBO, and if they do lets see if Lara is still calling GGG out after the Monroe fight or if he magically disappears again.

True, but it seems like Rosado had no one to answer to. I'm not opposed to Lara/GGG, but I just don't see it materializing, regardless of what either guy says. HBO and Haymon are in the way of this match-up happening. I don't see HBO letting GGG fight off their network, so it would be up to Haymon to allow Lara to fight GGG, but why would he do that? Lara would have to go up to 160 and become the WBA #1 contender (by beating Jacobs first) to force a fight with GGG. There's too much in the way for this match-up to be realistic.

GGG is a much better fighter than Lara and would run him out of the ring. But, it's GGG/HBO more than GGG himself but they are fine letting him beat up on bums. They don't want this fight, not because GGG would lose, but he'd be in a boring fight and/or be a little exposed. It's almost like they are forcing GGG being a bad ass down our throat by fighting little guys where it's to point where we want to see him be tested. At least I do, Murray was a good fight to watch because he put up at least some resistance. The trend of KO in 3 for this Mike Tyson hype has to stop, it isn't helping GGG as a fighter.

At the very least Lara is a better match up than whoever he's fighting right now.

Lara had to confront Canelo and embarrass him in a press conference order to get the fight.
