Yeah, they've been unlucky in some respects and it is quite early to be making judgments.

I don't think it's wide of the mark to suggest however, that PBC needs more exciting fights like Thurman-Guerrero on a regular basis to build a viewership and following, and ultimately land the sponsorship they need.

          • There is no money in boxing except for superstars that fight in PPV. Arum with decades and decades of experience would have done this if he thinks this will make money and sponsors/commercials will support it.

Al Haymon should have sticked to milking hbo and showtime sports. He will go bankrupt on this one.

This is good for boxing sport but mark my word, this pbc will fail. Who the **** watch boxing anymore? Casual fans only watch super fights. Even MArquez can't draw fly to sh.it if he's not fighting Pacquaio.

Just 'Game Over', see you next year and fade to black.

Imagine the Superbowl without the coach getting Gatorade dumped all over him and with no fans on the field after the game? No interviews, no awards given out, no trophy?

It's boxing but there is something missing, something that absolutely has to be there to make it complete. But for whatever reason, someone involved with the production has no idea what they are doing. It's like they turned the show over to a production team who has never seen a boxing match on television in their lives.
Barcham is the type of dude who complains about the plot and dialogue of a 'pr0n' or hates on the music on a new album because of the cover art or lack of liner notes.

              Sad existence, indeed.

Then we have Virgil Hunter who is such a bad commentator , I wanted the Beterbiev vs Campillo fight to end as soon as possible so I wouldn't have to listen to Hunter anymore. He was commentating as if he were a fan of Campillo and getting upset that his strategy wasn't good to defeat Beterbiev, just terrible!

Then they interview Beterbiev without having a professional translator.
The production, the preparation, everything about this show except for the first fight is terrible.

They are complete rookies and they are sinking. That's why you let networks produce their shows. Any Fox or ESPN boxing card is 100 times better than this production wise.
                hatters gonna hate.....

                • The same lames ( Barcham , Divine Hammer ) on here keep complaining acting like estrogen filled life hating females. The only time Barchams positive is if it involves GGG so it gives him a chance to drink his digital semen.

There is no way any of you losers have a decent life and have such a bitter negative point of view On one hand sh!.tting on the PBC about everything But hyping BKB with Rosado( Who hasn't won a fight in years ) Stevens and Soto Karass the epitome of C & D class

I'm not saying PBC is the greatest but 1 month in and 3 shows in I think their doing a great job Thurman / Guerrero = Great fight . Berto/Lopez = Good fight, Nice showcase fights for Porter & Beterbiev. Just about to watch Stevenson / Bika . Broner / Molina was dog sh..!t. There's some production I'd change but really who gives a F..u.ck

I'm cool , 2015 is has been off to a good start plus there's basically a good to great fight(s) every weekend in part because of the PBC and Haymon associated fighters.

                  April 11 Garcia/Peterson
                  Lee/Quillen
I think Eroll Spence and Postol are both on the card too.

                  April 18. Matthysse / Ruslan
                  Chavez Jr. / Fonfara

                  April 24 Jacobs / Truax
                  Durrell / Jack
                  April 25. Klitchko/ Jennings

                  May 2. May/Pac

                  May 9. Canelo / Kirkland

                  May 15. GGG

                  May 23. Dirrel / Degale

Keep being negative ladies meanwhile I'll be watching some great Boxing in the next 2 months

                    Unfortunately I agree with you.

I clown Haymon bumsniffs but I think his venture is exciting and good for fans.

Unfortunately I think you're right, boxing simply isn't mainstream. I don't know about America, but here in the UK boxing isn't even in newspapers, it's on the "more sports" sections of sports websites, it's probably less popular than WWE.

I use to have to stay in on a Saturday night until 11:30 pm to watch fights like this.

It may not be perfect but it's what this sport needed.
That's all most of this forum know how to do b*tch and moan about everything and everyone not involved with their favorites winning and getting their way. Haymon gets more **** than Arum ever did. Gee I wonder why.
