Cotto is a small middleweight daring to be great. Geale or any middleweight as tune up is a great start.Comment

Are we that eager to discredit a guy like Cotto by blaming him for not being born a bigger man e.g. 5'10 180lbs? Cotto is a not even a real 154lb fighter if you want to be sincere about it. So all this talk about "WHY is Cotto fighting Geale" is just more moving of the goal post.
"Cotto better fight a REAL MW and NOT Bradley..."
then becomes
"Awe man, WHY is Cotto fighting a REAL MW named Geale doe??"
The goal post is on wheels for sure...Comment

Cotto is CLEARLY too small for MW.
When someone says it's a "good fight," they are merely saying it is a LEGIT MW for Cotto and a REAL test for Cotto at MW.
By acknowledging that Geale is a real MW and a real test, does NOT imply someone actually believes that Cotto is a bonafide middleweight.
Not that complicated.Comment

He is, it's just a WW beat the MW champ and people are still ruined emotionally and mentally. Even you are in denial about it with a post like this. Cotto did beat Sergio no matter how old and broken, he did it as an underdog too. And he did it at a catchweight, at catchweight HIGHER than the one Sergio won the same title at. Any other haterade flavors or is the only one still salt?Comment
