Once again....I have no problem with Cotto not fighting at 160. Either piss or get off the pot though. Don't cherry pick your MW opponents and criticize GGG's resume then choose to fight a guy that GGG demolished in 3. It hurts your credibility. Relinquish if you don't plan on proving you're the best MW in the division by taking on the guy perceived to be the best. I wont knock him for that.

RJJ knew he wasn't a HW and that's why he went right back down after beating Ruiz. Had he stuck around people would have been calling him out the same way they're calling Cotto out on it. Imagine had he stuck around picking and choosing weak HW's while avoiding the top dogs.
So you're complaining the WBC gave him a voluntary and he's taking it. Where is your "WBC has dumb rules thread, **** the fighters who follow them" thread?

Cotto is a small middleweight daring to be great. Geale or any middleweight as tune up is a great start.

I almost feel sorry for you sometimes. I really do.
I read his comment because you quoted it. Let him have his moral victory, Marg's trainer did get a license to squirt water, rub ******* and hold open a guys trunks. He took my view as saying someone getting a DUI had their license suspended and his evidence of "the guy having a license" would be the forklift he's allowed to drive. Essentially he does have a license... That speaks completely to the dumbest poster comment, it's 100% true considering what he's doing to not feel like a complete idiot.

"Cotto better fight a REAL MW and NOT Bradley..."

                then becomes

"Awe man, WHY is Cotto fighting a REAL MW named Geale doe??"

The goal post is on wheels for sure...
This is the problem for Cotto imo. He has a welterweight frame. He is basically to small for any of the top guys at 154 & 160. That said. My problem with Cotto fighting a Geale type opponent is the fact he could of already done a fight like that instead of just hanging around for the last year. My other problem, and this is'nt specific to Cotto, is people not fighting their mandatories. I have no problem with a guy taking a fight in between or even two if your going to fight 3 times in a year. But sitting around for a year just to take a voluntary is terrible.

When someone says it's a "good fight," they are merely saying it is a LEGIT MW for Cotto and a REAL test for Cotto at MW.

By acknowledging that Geale is a real MW and a real test, does NOT imply someone actually believes that Cotto is a bonafide middleweight.

                    Not that complicated.
So you're saying he's not a legit mw champ. Gotcha.

He is, it's just a WW beat the MW champ and people are still ruined emotionally and mentally. Even you are in denial about it with a post like this. Cotto did beat Sergio no matter how old and broken, he did it as an underdog too. And he did it at a catchweight, at catchweight HIGHER than the one Sergio won the same title at. Any other haterade flavors or is the only one still salt?
