Now that there's rumor circulating about Cotto vs Geale, the fanboys are now talking about how this is a good fight.

So which is it? Is Cotto a MW only when it comes to facing certain MW fighters not named GGG, or is he too small for the division?
Well he weighed 155 for the only fight he's had at that weight so... He is a small really middle for sure.

Once again....I have no problem with Cotto not fighting at 160. Either piss or get off the pot though. Don't cherry pick your MW opponents and criticize GGG's resume then choose to fight a guy that GGG demolished in 3. It hurts your credibility. Relinquish if you don't plan on proving you're the best MW in the division by taking on the guy perceived to be the best. I wont knock him for that.

RJJ knew he wasn't a HW and that's why he went right back down after beating Ruiz. Had he stuck around people would have been calling him out the same way they're calling Cotto out on it. Imagine had he stuck around picking and choosing weak HW's while avoiding the top dogs.

Again, he is NEW to the MW division. I don't get how Cotto was supposed to have fought GGG the day after Sergio fight. Patience... It's not Cotto's fault GGG is a hero in a shyt division. Maybe ask GGG to step it up and fight Ward.

It's not about Cotto. It's about the way this b*tch made division has played all these games while Golovkin can't get the fights he has deserved for over a year. Sergio did it with THE title and now Cotto is as well. A bunch of fighters have done it with the IBF, and now Quillin's coward ass will probably get it and go into Witness Protection with it.

Every time someone new gets these belts, there's always more mandatories and more "big" fights and more reasons not to fight Golovkin.

He's going to play around at 160 and lose to a nobody, may even lose his next fight. Sergio Martinez KNEES were shot, and Cotto beat him. Cotto won't fare well against a taller 160 pounder with a jab and movement.

He is a short little fatso and his best fighting weight might be 147 pounds. He can make 150 with ease and 150 was the weight he tried to get Margarito to fight him at in the rematch.

Cotto might have better results dropping back down to 154.

Cotto is a not even a real 154lb fighter if you want to be sincere about it. So all this talk about "WHY is Cotto fighting Geale" is just more moving of the goal post.

How is Cotto not a "real" 154lb either? Can he make 147? NO? Okay.
