If you would have told me 2 years ago that boxing would be on NBC, CBS, SPIKE, BET, TRU TV, ESPN, AND ABC I would have laughed in your face. Credit to Haymon and RocNation for getting it done

People laughing at the idea of BET don't know how important it is to get the black demographic. Most of Floyd's popularity pre DLH fight was from black america.

"Idea" Is the key word. but you don't build a fan base at 31 years old...Whats even more amazing is for all the talk on how Ward is p4p he doesn't even have 30 fights. When 25 years olds like Broner and Garcia do...They both have a solid fan base, thats how you build it, you fight. Ward signed with Roc months ago and he's just now fighting in June, crazy....

Ya, this is a step back and a terrible idea.

                Ward on BET can't stoplaughing

Possibly the worlds best fighter ignored and reduced to a clown act as boxing ignores Ward completely. Now that is sad but who the hell is actually advising these morons?

Just goes to show they don't know what to do with Ward. They trying to follow the Haymon plan. Ward better off just continuing to fight on HBO. He doesn't have enough viewers to bring in big advertisement dollars and that's the whole purpose of fighting on network tv. Maybe the Roc is cool with losing money trying to build Ward up but they will never recoup those losses...

Not a bad idea for a tuneup. The problem is, what's next after his upcoming fight?

He's too good but doesn't bring in money so it's gonna be hard for him to get fights. I'm sure he's not worried because Roc Nation is supposedly paying him good money.

everyone has talked smack about ward but hes going to have the last laugh he will now make more money then he would of the day he retires. Not only that once he wins a fight or 2 hes right back where people will care. People love to hate this guy for some reason but its all working out for him. Roc nation will make him a star no doubt about that and i fully expect him to be in big fights the next couple years and he will still take over number 1 pound for pound when floyd retires
