Maybe, just maybe...A lot of these posters, secretly have Cotto as being a MW god. They point to the fact that GGG has beaten Geale and so, this means that Cotto WALKS thru Geale with ease and thus, it is NOT a real challenge...

    Interesting.

Lets keep this in perspective: Cotto just got to MW. He is NOT a true MW by any stretch. In a reasonable universe, it makes sense that Cotto take on a Geale prior to testing the GGG waters at 160lbs. I don't get the confusion with Cotto taking his voluntary?

Also... have we forgotten GGG is fighting Willie Money Monroe jr?

Perspective. Geale is probably the BEST guy on GGGs resume and yet, when Cotto fights him, he is pure garbage?

    Holy shyt!

Maybe, rewatching the fletcher fight and he waits a little too long sometimes. He needs to be active against the smaller man... use some of that sneaky power

Pretty funny. Just shows that Cotto doesn't want the true challenges.

If Cotto wins his next fight he must fight GGG or vacate. If he refuses to do either, he will be stripped.

If Cotto has simply moved up to MW and not fought and won the WBC and lineal titles, you would have a leg to stand on. But he did. And champions have an obligation to defend their titles against the best opponents available. Cotto is not doing so which is why people are on his back. It is not very difficult to understand for anyone other than Cotto and his fans who seem to either have some kind of mental block or simply lack the intelligence to figure it out.

As for Willie Monroe, the only reason GGG is fighting him is because the other middleweights he should really be fighting, such as Canelo and COTTO, don't have the balls to get in the ring with him. So blame your man Cotto for the Monroe fight, not GGG.
