Maybe, just maybe...A lot of these posters, secretly have Cotto as being a MW god. They point to the fact that GGG has beaten Geale and so, this means that Cotto WALKS thru Geale with ease and thus, it is NOT a real challenge...

Lets keep this in perspective: Cotto just got to MW. He is NOT a true MW by any stretch. In a reasonable universe, it makes sense that Cotto take on a Geale prior to testing the GGG waters at 160lbs. I don't get the confusion with Cotto taking his voluntary?

Also... have we forgotten GGG is fighting Willie Money Monroe jr?

Perspective. Geale is probably the BEST guy on GGGs resume and yet, when Cotto fights him, he is pure garbage?

Such an obvious hypocrisy...GGG fights Monroe because other beltholders don't want to fight him. So this is a "stay busy" fight. Cotto on the other hand fights after lengthy intermission and the string of opponents was considered. And this is what they came up with... Cotto fans claim, that "he'll fight GGG, but later". Or maybe Canelo... It is obvious for anybody who can add two and two, that Cotto's team is stalling in hopes to "sell" the bell. They hope that if there will be enough money involved, WBC will bypass their own regulations.

Oh, and one more thing: this is not "the very same Geale". GGG fought the fighter that never been stopped. Cotto will fight him after he already went through brutal KO loss. Not the same level of confidence.

I guess thats why Boxing still leads all combat sports in all demographics, has the highest paid athlete in the history of sports, makes more money than and has more lucrative tv deals then every other combat sport put together, even failing PPV's are more lucrative then other combat sport PPV's, and has a fighter who owns multiple Guinness records, not to mention that some sparring partners make more then MMA fighters.
