Why would unifying make it interesting? I'd rather see the best fight the best!
ah, i always imagined them like sanctioning bodies you know, like wbc, wba etc....

That's not true. Fury was told if he wanted to fight Cain he had to join the UFC and work his way up.

Toney was shot as a fighter and Dana White knew it, that's why he allowed him into the UFC.

This was before the fact...White eventually agreed to make the fight weeks after this video..when Cain agreed to it,fury quickly ran for cover and did a boxing match to cover his tracks.

This is also false...Dana actually pleaded with Toney to forget the idea for months...Toney was the one stalking Dana White,he even went to the guys house and made nonsensicle threats so finally Dana obliged him out of of frustration..it was Toneys own doing in calling out Randy Couture and he got his payday along with his reality check. If UFC wanted just money they would have kept him on along with Kimbo, they saw they couldnrtt be real cage fighters so they got cut from the organization, because of them taking blame and everyone pointing fingers at them when they try and do their best to put legit fighters in there.

Fury's all talk. Even in Bellator there's a half dozen guys who would take him down and submit him.

Forget Bellator,if he walked into any MMA gym of quality and ran his mouth he would quickly get spanked, hurt and beat up.I'll be surprised if he actually makes it through the training required for MMA,the contract is the easy part.David Haye trained in MMA for awhile to get in shape, and thought about competing years back, then said he couldn't keep up with the actual training that was necessary for top level fighters of the sport...so we will see...

Have you any evidence to back that up?

If not, I'm going to assume it's bull****.

Fury trains/has trained w/some of the top Kickboxers and mentioned wanting to try that and never did and that's stand-up fighting so this is just talk

That's true, if he tried to grapple with them.

Don't swallow the bull****. MMA fighters are not supermen. One punch in the head from a world class heavyweight boxer boxer like Fury, wearing those little lightweight MMA gloves, would knock any one those half dozen guys spark out, and Cain Velasquez too.

Why do you think Dana White didn't call Fury's bluff - if he was bluffing - and offer him a fight with Cain?

The answer is that he had no idea what would have happened if he'd done that.

We've never seen an elite level boxer in his prime going up against an elite MMA fighter, ever.
