Khan is just using the Mayweather blueprint to hype this fight. He's gonna make Kell wait a year or two so the hype builds up. Khan has already made himself to be the bad guy in this fight.

Another bs post. Khan is using his own blueprint. Mayweather tried to make a fight with Pacquiao when that fight first started being spoken about. Pacquiao refused to take drug test so the fight did not happen. You know this. Everyone knows this but for some reason you will lie about Mayweather just to make up a completely false excuse for Khan.

Boxingscene British Bias

The writers at boxingscene often amaze me with their biases towards British fighters. They will trash Andre Ward for having a conflict with his promoter but praise Carl Froch for avoiding a rematch to unify the division with Andre Ward. The writers on this site will claim that Mayweather was ducking Pacquiao because he demanded preflight drug testing but I have yet to hear the same accusations made against Khan for refusing to consider negotiating a meeting with his domestic rival who also happens to be the owner of the IBF world welter weight title. The fans want the fight. And the champion, Kell Brook, wants the fight. We have all figured out that boxingscene is a UK based site. But is boxingscene serving the fans in the UK by turning a blind eye and failing to put any media pressure on Khan to capitulate to the wishes of his British fans? I think not.

Amir Khan and Kell Brook are well known rivals. The fight would do great numbers and both guys and their teams would make a ton of loot. You can acknowledge this even if you don't acknowledge that Brook fought and beat the legitimate IBF world welter weight champion in Shawn Porter to become champion himself.

I don't see how this is still getting so much air time... Khan is blatantly avoiding Brook as he doesn't really need him right now and rightly feels in the position of power. Brook/Hearn are trying literally every tactic to goad him into it from reverse psychology to compliments to trying to belittle him. Its worth big money, but Khan's net worth is meant to be £15-20m, so I don't think a £4m payday (half of which will go to the taxman due to UK tax laws) is unmissable for him right now. Khan has a serious worldwide profile for a UK fighter who has been KO'd a couple times, is seen as a money fight at 147lbs still AND is a potential Mayweather or Pac opponent. So when you look at the facts only, Khan holds all the aces and he knows it, all Brook has atm is an alphabet title and a promoter pulling his hair out (then having it surgically reinserted) to put another fight on at Wembley....
