Not even sure we'll get to see it at this stage.

It's starting to get the Hatton-Witter feel about it, only on a bigger scale.

This is an interesting trainer pairing...if Algieri can get just a little bit more of out his punches, his fights would be much different. He could take a lead and extend it..right now, (outside of Pac)I feel like most of the rounds I watch him are very close, too close given his ability to move. His ring generalship is really good, he often feels in control..but it's not translating into damage

This really is a terrible fight and a massive mismatch. Khan will destroy Algieri so easily that theres not even any point in having a fight, Khan gains nothing but loses a lot of respect. Highly disappointed as a Khan fan if this fight takes place.

Got to agree with that , the time is now otherwise anything could happen a bad loss for either could spoil the fun....could end up being a nursing home scuffle ..can't even listen to Khan at this stage .

At 140lbs, Khan took on and was willing to take on everyone. Kotelnik, Maidana, Garcia, Peterson....ducked by Bradley. He even did things that other top fighters would never do like going to Peterson's hometown. Always fought his heart out even when hurt, gave the fans their moneys worth.

I was willing to accept Molina, Diaz, Collazo, Alexander. He was slowly rebuilding at 147 and improving his opposition level each time. But now he's going backwards - by his own admission, Algieiri is worse than Alexander....

ok cool, It seems that he's eager to get Broner in there , I actually think that's a cop out Broner simply isn't the fighter at welter at least for now and say's his weight is light/w....it irritates me that Khan say's he wants to fight the best welters and then starts looking back down. What he puts forward for his fans to believe (and some do ) is even harder to believe than the election jargon .I suppose I should keep quiet until an opponent is announced and to a point Broner wouldn't be that bad but after Devon I hoped he'd really try to prove a point but I think an Algieiri type will backfire he's not doing himself any favours with his actions and silly talk and I feel he is cheating his fans and believe or not may be himself. Your points on this subject make good sense.

It seems pretty clear that Algieri wants and has accepted a Khan fight while Khan doesn't really want it and is holding out for Broner or Cotto. I'd be very disappointed with an Algieri fight, it's not even like he's guaranteed the May-Pac winner otherwise he wouldn't be asking for Cotto.

That was a guy in Brook who wasn't at the world level yet. Khan is a guy at world level chasing Floyd Mayweather, totally different situation but you carry on with the nonsense.
Brook was mandatory for the WBO title in 2010/11 time. He was very much World level. He always fought those opponents only to name drop Khan to add relevance to those fights. The Hatton fight had that silly battle of roses gimmick and was built up as an event.
