Is there a trainer that is a bigger attention whore than Freddie Roach

I'll admit Roach has been a motor mouth and lately he is getting worse.

But look up Angel Garcia on youtube....there are a dozen videos of him going completely loco on people like Zab Judah, Matthysse, HBO, etc etc.

Roach tries to get into the other boxers' head...Garcia is plumb nuts. He's embarrassing. I've seen him do the "throat cut" gesture many times.

Roach is an angel compared to Angel.

You do know that after the fight (when no more promotion or getting into the fighter's head needs to be done), he's going to say Mayweather was running all night, right? Even though before the fight he was saying Mayweather's leg's were shot. You do know that's going to happen right? Even the Pacquiao fans on this site have to admit that. Floyd Mayweather might talk trash, but once the fight is over, it's all love. Because there doesn't need to be any more trash talking. Roach for some reason tends to hold grudges.

Roach is bitter. He will make tons of excuses after Pacquiao loses.

i kind of think the later....if he was on social media talking alot of smack then i would say attention whore. but he gets interviewed alot and his interviews make it to the tops of boxing news

Seriously, I think Roach is more of an attention whore than Angel Garcia. Freddie Can't stand that the Mayweather camp is ignoring him. It's really a kind of pathetic display by Roach.

This is funny that I see this thread after just watching a Freddie Roach doc that was done years ago.

It went over his Parkinson disease extensively and you can't help but feel bad for the dude even though he wouldn't have at that.

If there is any anger or frustration from Roach, it's from his upbringing with his abusive father. The dude would beat him and his brothers and even his mother if they didn't want to box after school. Very controlling father and I could relate cause I grew up with one similar.

At the end of the day, there is this anger bottled up inside you from all the crap you had to deal with growing up with someone hating on you or hitting you.

Roach deals with this by letting loose at the gym and it's a great way to control the energy and the disease he has but yeah if he goes off the wall sometimes, it's just grumpy man from a rough upbringing.

Pac is one of the top fighters of today. He don't speak much so but when he does it not media worthy. Everybody else around Pac like to run their mouth especially Roach. If he wasn't linked to Pac you wouldn't hear so much of him
