Let's be honest now. You would be thrilled out of your mind to the point where you would be creaming in your pants if Mayweather Sr were as vocal as Freddie Roach. You would be calling it "publicity" and "hype".

You know this is true.

The reality is... Floyd Sr is quiet because he flapped his gums non stop when he trained Hatton and we all know what happened to Hatton. It's what happens to people when they get humbled. It's human nature.

Now, if Manny loses, then Roach will deserve any and all the trash talk he receives from Sr after the fight. But for now, let's just acknowledge and admit that Sr is quiet because he got humbled in his last major fight.

The dude literally evacuated the MGM Grand after Hatton got KO'd. You can't blame Sr for running out of the arena considering all the trash he talked before the fight.

I'm not really sure what your point is. So Sr. isn't talking smack because one of his ex-fighters got KO'd years ago? Wasn't he only with Hatton for that one fight? That's too far fetched in my opinion.. I mean come on dude you really believe that? Freddie is just trying to hype the fight.

Sr. has been talking smack and really isn't that silent. But lets be honest, you practically need subtitles to understand the guy and its painful to try to watch an interview with him. Lmao

Not that I know anything behind closed doors, but whenever Floyd fights or trains with his dad, he kinda seems to shrug off his dad and let Roger tell him whatever it is. Kinda leads me to believe Floyd Sr. plays little to no role within his son's team and really makes anything Sr. says seem pretty irrelevant.
