if he wanted legacy fights he would've pacquiao back in 2010, sergio martinez and paul williams instead of fighting a bloated marquez and old shane.

btw at least pacquiao ran through those soft opponents;dlh, maidana and old shane gave mayweather problems.

Margarito at 50 benefitted Margarito more than if it was at 47. Margarito had never fought at 54, so it's not like Margarito suckd weight for that fight

Cotto had no choice but to run. However if u noticed as soon as he went to his underrated jab, he had PAC a bit frustrated. PAC even hit him with both gloves at one point n the ref warned him. He kept telling Cotto let's go but Cotto with his jab alone was controlling. But he lost focus, its a loss to a great not a bum. I think if Cotto fights him again I bet he will go to that jab from get go n frustrate the hell out of PAC all night. IMO.

If he didnt get paid what he wants, he would not have agreed to fight.

I agree that at this stage of his career he did not need to fight Canelo or Pacquiao..... Canelo is a beast from a higher division, and Pacs stock dropped a bunch after getting KTFO and losing to Bradley...... but I do not believe that he only fought Canelo/Pac for legacy.

The truth is likely somewhere in the middle.

I do pac gassing more, his legs are still there but i doubt he can volume punch as hard as he used to. Wich is in floyds favor but hes not as sharp and hes fatiguing as well, but he sets the pace

Why are you guys such narrow minded fckers , the money has been fought over and is dead and gone , the fight now is about legacy for both of them , time is constantly moving and life is dynamically changing every second of the every day , what is said or done in a different time space can be the polar opposite to what it is now and what it will be tomorrow and beyond .

Pretty sure you got Cotto and Clottey mixed up there. Manny completely neutralized Cotto's 'underrated jab' in a way no other before or after did. Turned it into a liability for Miguel.
