if he wanted legacy fights he would've pacquiao back in 2010, sergio martinez and paul williams instead of fighting a bloated marquez and old shane.
btw at least pacquiao ran through those soft opponents;dlh, maidana and old shane gave mayweather problems.

The 38-year-old, unbeaten in his 47 fights and a five-division world champion, heads into a clash with eight-division title holder Pacquiao that is expected to set financial records - but insists his reputation and the education of his children remain more important to him.
"When you're young, you look at everything like you want nice cars, you want ***elry, you want a big house," Mayweather told mlive.com.
"But once you've been living like that for so long, it's not really about that anymore. It's about my children, the legacy, them getting the best education. That's what's mainly important to me. I don't worry about the fight because I know what I can do and I know what I bring to the table."

If he didnt get paid what he wants, he would not have agreed to fight.
I agree that at this stage of his career he did not need to fight Canelo or Pacquiao..... Canelo is a beast from a higher division, and Pacs stock dropped a bunch after getting KTFO and losing to Bradley...... but I do not believe that he only fought Canelo/Pac for legacy.
The truth is likely somewhere in the middle.

You guys think so abstract , straight lines and big advertisements when life is the opposite all angles and traps waiting for the gullible to fall in .

Even if Floyd or Pacquiao didn't care about money it's not up to them.
Technically, they both have a BOSS.
You think Showtime, Top Rank are gonna put on a FREE show??
Remember this is a $300 million fight.
Floyd is only supposedly getting 100-120million and Pac is getting 80 million?
Where is the other $100 million going?? It sure ain't going to charity.
So they less money generated, means less money for Arum and Showtime.
Don't fool yourselves

I think if Cotto fights him again I bet he will go to that jab from get go n frustrate the hell out of PAC all night. IMO.
