This topic is highly debatable. For one, Floyd was technically in the right for saying Pac must take a lesser offer to the one Arum turned down before his KO loss. However I think Floyd was in a no win situation and needed to make this fight happen in order to sustain his supporters and fans trust. What doesn't make sense is all the rigmarole and road blocks Floyd put up to derail this after Pac beating Algieri. The general unbiased consensus I have gotten from this drama to the fight happening is Floyd kept quiet and withheld from striking while the iron was hot after everyone demanded it after Algieri-Pac. Letting it simmer down and originally planning to fight Cotto for the middleweight strap, fans still resisted making Floyd have a difficult decision to make. From there it seemed like Floyd and his team were acting like inattentive children trying to nonchalantly make the fight not happen by half way negotiating and being unproactive to sealing the deal. I think reality set in at the heat game and Floyd was just like "uh yea sure, **** yea lets do it". From there Floyd probably realized what he had done by meeting Pacquiao halfway at his hotel room and stayed true to his word with making the fight happen for their next fight.

Floyd camp releases statement, yet Floyd fans are sitll lost and confused.
just when Floyd fans are in dire need of something to hold on to, Floyd releases another hypocrisy. How sadistic can you really be to your fans Floyd?
Even your own fans don't believe your "it's not about money but legacy" bs, they don't want 60-40 split. they even went suggesting 80-20.

I couldn't care less what you think it is for. Floyd is going to beat Manny's ass whatever his motivation may be.

'Legacy!' 'My health!'
This guy suffers from hangeronitis. Rare condition where you start believing you're even better than your yes men and women say you are.

It is, now can't nobody say 50 years from now yeah but he ducked the best fighter of his time. So if Sprayweather wins in my opinion should be considered the greatest of all time, we'll if he actually wins, not talking about a gift decision. And if he retires undefeated.

fighting a bloated 40 year old featherweight. So no, beating Pac at this stage doesn't make Floyd the GOAT.

I know this is a little off topic, but some of you people are ****ing ******s. Most of you.
It has gotten to the point where I don't even read the articles anymore. I just read the headlines and think to myself: The comments in this one should be a hoot. And they are, for a page or two, then they just get redundant.
