Ward's offer to fight in Wembley shows me that he's doing his part for this match up. Froch needs to meet Ward half way on this (actually, Ward's offer is more like 3/4 than 1/2).

Ward told Froch to pick up the phone if he wants to make the fight. Then pick it up and stop making so many excuses. Froch went as far to say that Ward can't make the weight any more. If you don't want to fight the guy just say so like you have said before

Ward should have done this about a month ago, CALL FROCH BLUFF! I always thought Froch was banking on Ward never wanting to go to Nottingham which is why him and Hearn made that a requirement. No reason why Ward shouldn't travel!

Froch what a baby, lying about Andre's weight, lying about the length of time he has been out, 3 years WTF ? It hasn't even been 18 months. Not only does he contradict himself, he exaggerates to the point it is outright blatant lies. Just retire already, or vacate.

They would have the same officials and the same crowd if they staged it in Nottingham, but it would be a lot less expensive than securing the national stadium, so what is Andre bleating about?
I'm begining to wonder if there is any point carrying on with the purse bids. Froch has already said that he would rather retire than fight Ward in the States again and it looks like Andre is ruling out any possibility of him coming to the UK with this bull****.Last edited by kafkod; 03-31-2015, 03:45 PM.

If Pacquiao had said he would only fight Floyd in Texas or New York, can you imagine the response? he has no bargaining power to ask for that, neither does Ward.
Pacquiao is taking a career high payday in his opponent's backyard, Ward has the same opportunity of a career high payday in a more winnable fight on PPV, imo it would be the wrong decision to turn it down.

... Froch is the cash cow in the UK... but in the U.S. he's worthless (as Ward is)... That's why Ward would travel to London...
... Froch knows that he has slim chances to beat Ward even in the UK. Froch's fans also know that and they wouldn't buy out a stadium just to watch their hero locked up in a hug fest...
Froch is right about Ward though: ... "He's walking around at some 200 pounds"... (he's a small SMW doe)...
[Froch should seriously contemplate retirement (in case he doesn't plan to fight DeGale); because Chavez Jr also can't make 168...]
