Cotto,s legacy is set with or without GGG.
A fight with GGG only enhance it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the title is part of the HBO negotiation, this is the WBC we are talking about the same organization that found a way to make the reigning WBA champion the WBC interim champion and now are ranking Mr Heiland at #1.

GGG won the interim belt when he defeated Rubio. No one 'found a way' to make him the WBC mandatory, he did that all on his own. And no matter what people may think of Rubio, at least he got in the ring. Something that neither Cotto or Canelo or any of the paper champions have had the balls to do. It makes me laugh to see Cotto and Canelo fans dump on GGG for fighting Monroe, but at least Monroe stepped up when their fave fighter is too chicken to do so themselves. I guess that means Monroe is more of a man than either Cotto or Canelo as either of them could have had that date to fight GGG if they were interested.

And don't try to make this about money, it's about having the confidence to get in the ring against the best. Canelo is still a kid and Cotto is supposed to be a champion. What are they afraid of?

I think with Cotto its pretty obvious. He has a 3-fight deal, with other stuff that makes it potentially worth $50 million, according to media reports.

I havent seen the contract, but I would suspect that getting his head knocked into the 4th row by GGG might just have a negative effect on the remainder of the contract. Just a hunch.........

he keeps saying he can easily make 154, go for canelo then, ill like to see that... and by the way you calling canelo a paper champion, if anything canelo care less about titles than ggg, he doesnt need titles to become a star, he already is... canelo already said he is willing to fight ggg, he has done enough to prove delusionals he is no duck, so if ggg wants the big canelo payday come down and get it, otherwise shut up and wait your turn, canelos last fight was at 23 yo, he is still young and has no rush, but doesnt mean he wont take the challenges, if anyone is running out of time is ggg, so come and get it or shut up ...

I wasn't dumping on GGG he did what he needed to do but belt organizations usually don't let champions of other titles get that high on their rankings they usually prefer unification fights. And boxing is a business your living in a fantasy world if you believe otherwise, why else would hedge funds get involved. The fact that your boy is calling out PPV worthy opponents, WBC champ and not fighting for the vacant IBF title is because he like everyone else is looking for the big money fights. If it was just because he wants to unify the titles he would be trying to fight for the vacant title there is one available.

perfectly said at 32 GGG is just starting??? and time is ticking people act like he's a monster because he knocks a bunch of bums out lol. his best fight was what martin murray ??? the funny part was if murray had power he would of beat GGG he was giving GGG a clinic at the begining but had no power....

cotto and canelo at there age have done more then GGG has ever done that is the funniest ***** ever at 23 nelo has fought one of the best of this era and fought top contenders at 154 and cotto at 32 has fought almost every fighter at 140 147 154 including the 2 best of this era...... (but they are scared of GGG the buggyman FOH)

Ward "called out" GGG when Ward was inactive and in the middle of a lawsuit, rendering him unable to fight ANYONE, including GGG. And I put "called out" in quotes because it wasnt even a true call out, as no legitimate offer was presented by Team Ward

Funny now that Wards lawsuit is over, and he is now with Roc Nation and able to fight, not a peep about GGG is coming out of his mouth. All we are hearing these days from Team Ward is that he needs 3 tuneups before fighting anyone real. lol


And I hope Lee wins his upcoming fight, because unlike Quillin and Cotto, Lee will actually get in the ring with GGG.....

How'd I guess that out of all the possibly decent fights out there , Cotto would pull a nobody out his ass ? Unfortunately for Cotto this nobody may actually destroy his washed up ass . Can't believe Roc Nation Sports signed this wash to big money , how the hell do they expect to yield any return on their investment once Cotto losses his first fight against a nobody ?
