my name is at the bottom of every one of my posts. I dont have to hide my identity behind some tough-sounding screen name, and my boxing history is easy enough to verify with google and a few minutes of spare time.

yes and I asked my cousin who lives in florida and is a casual boxing fan... who knows top rank, GBP, etc etc etc hell he even knows main events kathy duva... he hasn't heard of one punch productions however. Again, he lives in florida and goes to house show fights.

So the guy has his own email and gets guys into fights. Good for him, I could care less what he thinks of he sounds like a dumbass. It's like fat Dan posting on here, I could care less if he's a boxing writer if he sounds like a dumbass or because he writes about it more than I do it should be taken as fact or he's above people critiquing him. When he makes a good/funny/relevant post I'll give him credit, if he says something dumb I won't. It's funny... because you're "someone" (though you're still no one) online it seems I should give a ****, I still don't care.

You have a job just like I do, you aren't special because it's a boxing forum and you work in the sport. I'm not special because I work on electronics and when I make a dumb statement on a forum somewhere I don't expect to be taken as fact because I "work in the industry." So cong**** on having a job in boxing, it doesn't mean **** to me if you still don't know anything about it. Floyd Sr used to be box FFS, do you think I believe everything he says or take it as the end all be all of boxing fact?

My ass. I grew up watching Ali fight on network television. I saw Leonard - Duran I live at Olympic Stadium here in Montreal and remember watching Cleveland Denny being beaten by Gaetan Hart and dying two weeks later. I may be many things, but a product of the Internet I am not. I am a product of an age when men had honour and they fought with that honour in mind, not because they wanted to make another million by holding a title hostage.

Cotto has a voluntary defense, if he ever decides who he will fight it against, and then if he has any honour, he will fight his mandatory against GGG. Anything else is unacceptable and an insult to himself as a man and to all fans of boxing.

I agree 100%... if he fights his voluntary and doesn't fight his mando and fights someone else for the WBC defense, then I can't support that fight... we'll see if he is using the heiland fight to grow into the weight class. If he fights heiland, giving that if its a tough fight, hell vacate and say that 160 is too much for him etc etc etc imo he's gonna fight heiland first to test the waters.
