A WW fight is anywhere between 140.1lbs and 147lbs. If both fighters weight in a 143lbs it's still a WW fight.
No one is denying this. The definition of a catch weight is a fight that isn't at the division limit.

Any fight where the limit isn't at one of the recognized weight classes is considered a catch weight...Why does this even need to be explained

Facts are facts, 147 is a division not a catch weight. Oscar was handicapped by it but it wasn't a catchweight.

Manny beats any version of Oscar though, styles.

Give it another week. Someone will claim Pacquiao/DLH was at 145 for the 39,839th time.

Mr. I don't drain fighters lost all right to complain about this after he needed a catchweight vs Canelo.

In terms of making the weight obviously cutting is easier than moving up, but in terms of actual in-ring performance it may in fact be more difficult to move up as the guy you could be fighting would be more powerful than you.
