Just curious... If GGG can make 154lbs so easily then why not fight Lara, Andrade, or Canelo at 154lbs? GGG has fought a lot of 154lbers but only at his preferred weight of 160lbs. And if size isn't that big of an issue than GGG shouldn't have said he would fight a Chavez Jr. at 168lbs but not an Andre Ward. But Ward isn't active doe...
    good points.

Floyd doesnt need a GGG fight anyways. There really is no upside to it for him. If he wants a title at 160lb there's always Cotto anyway!

You said he never said it. I showed you he did. That's basically the gist of the discussion we're having
During negotiations, which are more relevant than a two year old quote, he said no way to 150.

But hey, maybe if he can fight GGG and beat him, why not Kovalev?

Floyd be ducking kovalev. Floyd is all hype. He is afraid to be exposed
Can Kovalev drop down to 154 and contest for Floyd's belts? Ward, Hopkins can't, they offered to meet Floyd at 160.

Yes, I agreed with those points too.

As regards Floyd "being a small welter", whilst he isn't actually "small" at the weight he isn't a "big welter" in terms of how much weight he cuts or what weight he rehydates to for fight time. I'm sure that he could have continued to make 140lb for much longer than he fought at that weight.

People are ****ing losing their **** over Floyd. It's actually disturbing how freaked out and dumb most people get on here because of one fighter. Absolutely pathetic.

Comes up from 130, fights a bunch of naturally bigger jr welters, welters, and super welterweights all of whom are easily bigger and outweigh him significantly...."duuuuuurrrrrrr, Floyd just a coward who never face anyone his own size! duurrrr! **** that ***"

The backlash over that would pale in comparison to GGG going down an entire weight class, whether he's close to being the same size as the ginger or not. Or are you telling me you'd give Floyd full credit for fighting A MW at 154 whether ggg looked off and not himself in this hypothetical matchup?

I'm saying this... If ggg can prove he cane make 154 without any issues, cool. But show us. Fight a couple guys. Let the detractors not have any excuse and then get this potential super fight going
I'd give Floyd all the credit in the world if he fought GGG at 154. I don't care about the backlash. Floyd is hated by many so of course those guys wouldn't give him any credit even if GGG proves himself and look strong and healthy. GGG wants the fight cause it's his dream fight. Personally I love to see it happen but I'm pretty sure Floyd will never entertain this idea.

I see that, but I don't understand why they wouldn't want that to help avoid any or every 48 excuses. I'm not parading that Floyd wouldn't fight him due to his size whatsoever. Just prove to us that you indeed have no issues making 154.

I've been saying this for months. If you can make 154 fine like your team is claiming, then why not do it and really put pressure on Floyd?

Honestly dude, I see you post and don't take you seriously. You're the type that has an excuse lined up no matter what.

But I guess I embarrassed myself for simply showing proof of Canelo being ****** enough to go on record and say he'd drop to 150 & Floyd taking advantage of that
