Why is GGG too big for Floyd?...Canelo wasn't.

Floyd isn't too small to fight GGG. Especially if they did it at 154. Anyone that says he is DKSAB.Comment

He hits too hard so according to some people, he needs to fight Kovalev, lol.Just curious.....
At fight night he's not bigger than Canelo. Canelo always comes into the ring between 165-173 pounds. Against Floyd I believe he was 165 pounds. GGG weighed in at 167 on fight night against Murray.
Nobody said Canelo was too big but people claim GGG is "too big" when he's pretty much the same size as Canelo.
As long as GGG can make 154 the fight makes sense. If you don't like the fight, it's OK but don't say this fight should not be made because of the size difference. Had size been an issue Floyd should've never fought Canelo.Comment

Look, The point here is that GGG vs Floyd is a match-up that should be able to happen. It's a realistic fight so I started this thread to point out that GGG is NOT too big to fight Floyd, that's just a lame excuse.Really? And the way Floyd is scrutinized you think he wouldn't be attacked for fighting a guy who is a career MW who got handicapped and forced into fighting at 154?
We've seen this with Canelo, we saw it with JMM moving up. Yet you think Floyd would get full credit if ggg made 154 & lost?
Yes, I'm ok with this matchup. What I'm not ok with are injuries and excuses being made beforehand or after the fact by the media, fans and fighters and his team.
Want a Floyd fight? Cool. Fight an easy tuneup like Ishe. Maybe get a little tougher foe in your next one like Trout or Andrade. Or get in there with Lara or a Charlo twin. Then once the wheels are rolling, fight the guy. You fight bums 3 outta 4 times a year. Might as well step it up and get a few good names under your belt at 154 before fading Floyd and show us you can in fact make that weight with no issuesComment

How realistic is it? The guy doesn't fight at 154, he's never faced anyone the caliber that Canelo has. He's an exclusive HBO fighter(network disputes) so tell me how realistic this fight really is
If Ward got discredited for Dawson challenging him at Ward's weight and losing afterwards, you think it wouldn't be 100000000 times worse for Floyd in regards to the backlash? Let's be honest here.
I'm not saying Floyd should avoid this fight at all. I'm saying ggg might need to earn it a bit. That's it.Comment
