Without a doubt, you could tell he wasn't 100% because of how low his grunts were.

I don't really care what excuse he has. He's one of those fighters that needed that a$$ whooped to stop fighting tomato cans.

Russell is a very good fighter, he has flaws sure.. but so do most. It's just Lomachenko is a frigging monster, watch some of his WSB or amateur performances vs other beasts like Verdejo, Alvarez, Selimov etc.. he's gonna be an all time great I truly believe. Amazing at putting pressure on guys and controlling tempo while not having to punch himself and slipping their punches easily.

I blame lack of experience, lack of ring IQ, lack of knowing how to setup power shots behind your speed, and a lack of overall skills needed to perform against world class guys..

The dude is a joke and got beat by a guy that was 1-1, and lomochenko with his 2 fights were both better than anyone russell had fought in over 20 fights..

Russells career is a joke, hand speed doesn't automatically make you good..

This dude is the new smoke gainer

Other than the fact that they are both black I fail to see the similarities. Their styles are completely different, their career paths are different, and their physical dimensions are different. So.....

Dam, i don't know if this is legal but look at Loma with some tricks, moving Russells right hand down to land the left hook, Russell got schooled.

It wasn't exhaustion. It was that Loma is that good and there is no shame in losing to someone of his amatuer experience.

All that aside though I think Russell gives Gonzalez a pretty good fight tonight.

Neat trick. Reminds me of Wladimir and Ibragimov swatting down each others' jab hands in their fight.

Block removal is legal in boxing, it's just rarely used in the pros.
