I know you want him to be broke, but truth is, he'll still have more loose change in his Beverly Hills mansion couch cushions in 20 years than you and your family's next 3 generations will earn combined. Don't hate, congratulate.

shooting the messenger much?? it was rumored (from my source that was right on the money about the Beverly hills mansions) that advisers told him not to purchase significant item until his tax issues were 100% handled regardless of the size of his purse...the more u dont listen in this business the more ppl will cut your throat..manny is too forgiving..the same ppl who screwed him are still in his corner..just look at as true instead of any kind of ill will...this man has done a lot for the sport but the fact is arum has him buy the balls and 40 million is the number he'll end up with..

It appears that Manny's government intends to do to him what America's IRS did to Joe Louis.

I can't think of another country that a boxer would be their highest taxpayer.
He's not even remotely near the richest man in his country:

He's just getting screwed because he's a clueless athlete not a business/politics insider.

It's not much different in the US.

Look at that when you compare to someone like usain bolt who was given a 6 million dollar beachfront property in Jamaica after the Beijing Olympics.

The Philippine government is a disgrace.

Damn do the people on here really not understand how things like tax shelters work? Maybe it's just the CPA in me, but I'm actually kind of interested in seeing just how loophole ridden BIR tax code is.
