There is no reason this fight shouldn't happen this year unless a rematch is warranted for May-Pac.

First of, it is a good thing to see that Mayweather-Pacquiao got made. Hopefully, that will send a message to other fighters that if you have a challenger/contender/or fellow champion the paying public wants you to fight, they should step up to the plate and face that challenge. This is good for boxing. Let's see if this translates to full unification of all four belts. May the best man win!!!

Beating an unbeaten World Champion Porter is on par with Ortiz beating Berto or better than Guerrero smashing Andre. So, people need to chill out with the "he needs to earn his shot" cr@p.

The only two fighters in history to hold the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO titles in one weight class simultaneously are Bernard Hopkins (after unifying his WBA, WBC, and IBF MW titles with De La Hoya's WBO MW title) and Jermain Taylor (after he won all 4 belts vs. Hopkins in their first fight).

It's crazy but we are so close to this achievement being matched in 3 weight classes right now:
            1) Heavyweight: WBA, IBF, WBO-Wladimir Klitschko + WBC-Deontay Wilder
            2) Light heavyweight: WBA, IBF, WBO-Sergey Kovalev + WBC-Adonis Stevenson
            3) Welterweight: WBA, WBC, WBO-Mayweather/Pacquiao winner + IBF-Kell Brook

Brooks holdsthe most meaningless belt out of anyone in any division because it's a complete joke with Mayweather and Pacquiao in the same division.

Winner of Khan-Brook would be the perfect opponent to get Floyd to 50-0. You know he will face Manny one more gain after May 2nd.

Can't argue with that at all, but I just think that him & Thurman is a more logical step for Brook than either May or Pacquiao. At least at this exact moment.

That'll be awesome to have real undisputed champions. Been a long ass time since the Hopkins/Taylor days.

GGG also wants to be undisputed champion and currently could do it with almost ease.

Brook is dreaming. Nothing wrong with that, but its highly unlikely to happen.

Nah. That distinction belongs to Wilder.
